You don't have it on LaserDisc? How can you live with yourself?

Maybe not but it is a certainty that they will shaft blu-ray on the timing. This advertisement almost states that openly.

Technically, the advertisement was part of an insert for the Ultimate Matrix HD-DVD box set. It would be unwise for Warner to include BD in a HD-DVD "limited-time exclusive" set.

Default Blade Runner on Blu-Ray... Sssswwwweeeetttt...!

I must be living in a dream world. Blader Runner on Blu-Ray, awesome, sweet, heck yeah!!!

Okay Warner Brothers do the transfer justice, and PCM lossless audio PLEASE! Oh and don't forget hopefully Ridley Scott remembers to brush out those cables pulling up the cop car!!! I hope we get the original version with the narration. Come on we all figuered out that Deckard was a Replicant. We didn't need some studio executive to think we are all mindless people with no thought process or comprehension of what we were watching in the original cut of the film. Geez give us some credit....

If this is the new super-complete box set then we get ALL versions of the film plus the new one with new footage shot and cleaned up effects work.

The Blade Runner DVD I have has to be the worst release ever, poor picture, poor sound, not anamorphic, and it doesn't even fill the screen! And the menu features a WB logo in the background!!

This new release better be good!

From your description you have the original Blade Runner dvd release. It has since been re-mastered and re-released with an anamorphic transfer, but still with Dolby surround. It should still be available if you wanted to check it out
