I didn't read anything about District 9 before I saw it. I only saw one or two commercials on TV and I was expecting a high intensity action flick. It's definitely not that but I wasn't disappointed after seeing it. Good movie but not was I expected.

Okay, good. I was thinking about ordering from other places, but they all rape you with shipping and tax and are terribly slow. AMZ is always the safe route when it comes to ordering Blus. I'm very excited for this release, as it was one of my favorite movies of 2009 (2nd after Watchmen).

But I'm probably gonna wait until after Christmas before I purchase it. Pray to God that the price doesn't increase by then!

I would watch that movie over and over until I die. My dad saw it 3 times in theaters and that is extremely rare. If you are into sci-fi/action films, you will enjoy this film a lot. Replayability is ever-present on this one.

Yes... it is worth a blind buy.

Yes... does have replay value.

The film is layered with numerous topically significant themes. The combination of the story and the depth of meaning put it amongst the best films ever made. It's easily the best Sci-Fi film of the last 15 years.
