Good film. I just got done watching it but I wish there was more closure for the ending.

yes the digital copy for the ps3 is working , i guess we just had to wait until the PSN store updated

Just purchased this at Target, got the last copy (maybe more in the back). Anyways, there were a couple of Asian gentlemen buying lots of BD movies. One of them was nice enough to offer me a Target $5 off coupon.

I got mine today and its got the vest a slip cover and a booklet. Its priced at 29.99 in stores. But I havent opened it yet.

I just remembered this is a Peter Jackson film... Im curious if its better off to hold out for an extended edition. Any word of an extended edition?

It's not a Peter Jackson film. It just has his name on it. It's by Neill Blomkamp.

I was curious if anyone has any word on this film being released later on in an extended edition version. As most of Peter Jacksons Films get the extended treatment..

I just went to two targets and neither had district 9 on blu. I was wondering how often target restocks their new releases. Would it be a waste to stop by tomorrow or do they usually have more copies out the next day? I'm curious since tomorrow is the last day to use the $5 coupon.

I rented this title on dvd and enjoyed the movie. When I went to IMDB one of the threads mentioned that there were no subtitles on the blu-ray when the aliens were speaking. Later the poster said that the subtitles came up but were in white and looked like they were added for the blu-ray.

The poster said that the subtitles were yellow in the theater and they are yellow on my rental dvd.

I was considering purchasing this blu-ray and was curious if the subtitles are on when the aliens speak and if they are yellow, like in the theater.

And to answer the questions. There's always a chance. I think they filmed something like 100 hours or something insane of footage and edited it down into this film.

The actor and director were saying at comic con that a lot of it was just improv so there's tons of footage that wasn't used. I'd say it's likely that something will pop up, just for them to make more money on the film.

No they are in white.

me too, also got the last copy!

thought this was good, not great, in the movie theater, but perhaps i overlooked the plot. will give it a better viewing tonight. at the very least, i couldn't resist the $15 price tag, just for the effects alone and the first half of the film, which i did love.

Don't let the color of the subtitles stop you from buying this terrific Blu-ray. Sometimes I wonder if we are being a little too picky.
