Funny thing is, that after work tomorrow, we are going out to dinner from work so I don't get to watch the movie till late at night or even worse, Wednesday after work.
So I got home late last night but that did not stop me from watching this amazing movie
We started finished watching it at 2:30am, so sleepy today at work but it was totally worth it

He's talked about how he didnt play much of a role at all in the actual film itself. He was just giving advice to the director, that's it. He's listed as a producer but he was not closely involved in this movie at all.

That thing is very odd. I cant even think of what I would do with that, where to put it.

In case no one has visited the Rotten Tomatoes web-site before, District 9 earned a 90% at RT. For comparisons, The Dark Knight earned a 94%, and The Matrix earned an 86%.

i didnt like how the aliens or prawns looked like the little dudes in Men in Black (the guys that smoke the cigs in the break room) i had a main problem with that.. and the story as well, they sorta jumped into it without any reason, and adding the rebels with guns and selling cat food was just a joke, the CGI wasnt all that great either.. i was not a fan, this movie is not for everyone! Trailer looked awesome! movie not so awesome

This was only Produced by Peter Jackson, Basically they were throwing his name around to get more people in the Theater... he did not direct this MIB garbage

I know its a small thing but I hate the fact that its a Peter Jackson Presents. People get the illusion that he directed it and people forget that the genius behind it all is Neill Blomkamp.

Yeah, it has aliens, so it's just like MIB.
