Well, I buy what I want, yet I don't blind buy; it's a mistake I made years ago with Casino Royale.

39 of 99 were blind buys. No terrible surprises, but two or three tiny regrets.

They moved away from some of the traditions but I think they are the two best movies from the entire Bond franchise. I like Connery's Bond, but he could only play it the way they wanted at the time. Craig made Bond much more believable and put in two good acting performances. I don't expect any 40 year old action movie to stand up to today's technically.

9 of my discs have been blind buys, but blind buys I was pretty sure I would like -- for example, The Wrestler was a blind buy but I like Darren Arnofsky's films. Same thing with Slumdog Millionaire, because I really like Danny Boyle's work.

At least Quantum of Solace was better, but there's no gadgets, and no cool tech stuff for the DBS. Casino Royale for me is just trash; it's always slow paced and has a lot of pointless scenes.

So far the worse blind buy for me is The Happening. Others that are blind buy are not too bad.

Dude you seriously need to watch 3:10 to Yuma!

As for me I'd say about a third of my blu's were blind buys but they are all films I knew I'd enjoy.....or my wife would enjoy.

Rarely any of mine...maybe 2, 3 at most! Since I work at a local movie gallery I'm able to bring movies home before they street and see it before I decide if I want to buy it!

I used to blind buy ALL the time with my DVD collection. I decided that was kind of stupid, so I stopped doing so. The only Blu in my collection that was a blind buy was An American in Paris.
