A fair share - I blind bought 3:10 to Yuma, Sunshine, and Blade Runner all back in January 2008, and loved them all - big titles like Incredible Hulk, Quantum of Solace, etc I blind bought - I do it a lot. But with movies I'm not too sure of, I usually Netflix first, and then buy - i.e., I've done that lately with Defiance, Valkyrie, and A Bug's Life.

None here, too. I'm not paying $20-$30 dollars for a movie I haven't seen before. Besides that I go to the theatre so much it's almost impossible for me to have not seen every movie I would be interested in before they make it to disc, or else I rent first.

roughly 1/2 of my collection are blind buys, most often these were ones I just did not make it to theaters to see. some have been regretful, most not too bad.

I'd say it's a good mix. There are a lot of movies that come out that I'd like to see in theaters but never get around to doing so, so I just wait for them to come out on Blu and pick them up. For the most part, it's worked out pretty well. During 07 when there were a ton of bogo's, I blind bought a lot of the movies. I've cut back though.

i thought Craig was great in both films
quantum of solace was the first time i watched a movie two days in a row in a while

having not been a fan of the other bonds, that gadget stuff didn't really bother me, i thought they were great the way they were

i didn't find Casino Royale too slow paced, i liked the pace actually, it flowed pretty well for my taste

kind of same deal with me--I would say I make "educated" blind buys, or there are other bklind buys have made because of a B1G1 or some other kind of deal where it was insanely cheap.

lots of titles are blind buys-- why wouldn't I do this?

It's cheaper than going to the theatre-- that's a blind investment as well--

and this way I get to keep something for my money. I've only regretted it

a few times-- a very low %

'Gods & Generals'; 'Dog Day Afternoon'; 'Letters from Iwo Jima'; 'Curse of the Golden Flower'; '3:10 to Yuma'... I regret all of them. They were not worth my money.

Were you wasted when you made the poll? How about offering the option of "I've made a few blind buys"... seems like the choices you offer are "I have a lot of blind buys" or "I have no blind buys". You don't really offer an option for those of us who have just made a few.
