Wasn't about quoting me. I thought the video in the Panasonic thread was more informative, better scripted and I liked seeing him sitting in front of a work station.
Why not post the link to the video you shared here in the Panasonic thread as well? I'm sure Robert wouldn't mind. ![]() |

4K DCP for The Perfect Guy
![]() Image Format: 4096 x 1716 (Scope) Audio Format: 5.1 File Size: 110 GB (add another 3 MB for open cap) So, in essence, for the Ultra HD Blu-ray the pluses and minuses of any upscale issue would be moot ![]() |

The best video interview to date about the CZ950 with a brief discussion of the Panisonic UHD BR player toward the end.

These video interviews just keep getting better! Sowa's comments on black level bode well for Panasonic and future content faithfully reproducing black and near black.

Is there a list somewhere of films that should be ready to go for 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray titles?
With Fox revealing their first 4K Blu-ray titles and offering both 4K and Blu-ray in the same set, I'm considering holding off on a few titles this Fall in the hopes that an eventual 4K release won't be any higher than a 3D title. For instance, what about "Cinderella" or "Furious 7"? Last edited by Alan Gordon; 09-07-2015 at 04:47 PM. |

Most of the UHD titles available on the Sony FMP-X1 and FMP-X10 (from SEN) are from 4K DI's. IMO, in terms of PQ, most of these are not worth the premium (≥ $30 cost to purchase and download) they command over the BD counterpart. |

Don't get me wrong... the thought of Lawrence of Arabia, The Bridge On The River Kwai, Goldfinger, and The Ten Commandments in 4K is exciting enough, but I was interested in a more current and complete list. |

![]() If you mean what’s in the actual Ultra HD Blu-ray pipeline right now, no public list yet, other than Fox’s announcement. But now that the Federal data breach lawsuit has been settled (http://www.wtvm.com/story/29947060/f...ed-lawyer-says ) and barrister skullduggery has been revealed ( http://deadline.com/2015/08/iatse-el...ld-1201510836/ ), the time is fast approaching for the Leader of the 4K world to step forward with an update since this last interview….. http://www.theverge.com/2013/1/8/385...1oesYsa_S9SDz3 or a V.P. or at least a Director, because the industry (BDA) has established physical media standards. Some things actually happened rather quickly, like 4:2:2/4:4:4 being voted down on the very first vote by super majority in technical committee in favor of 4:2:0. |
