As to mike’s criticism for disliking the glossy side of HDR images and their overly video or non-organic quality, which I guess is a legitimate concern for those not having seen much Dolby Vision theatrical content, I should emphasize the fact that….

there is nothing that forces a Director to always use the full HDR range in the grading of his motion picture. They (the Director and DP) can decide to deliberately limit the range of luminosity in certain scenes or, for that matter, much of the movie (e.g. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/beh...n-dolby-809828 ) or, alternatively, cause the light, color and perceived detail to explode.

With regards to a dramatic motion picture, it’s a question of HDR dosage as to what they feel best visually transmits their storytelling…..not the pursuit of constant visual candy, as one would do for demo material in order to robustly promote a technology….for the sake of that technology.

I think they're (CPFC) my 2nd favorite in the Prem, as their fans saved

Would be great if Sky Q wasn't going to cost you an arm and a leg, it's already close to £100 a month for a complete sky package including Sky Sports. I dread to think what they will be charging for Sky Q with UHD package, and don't even think about the BBC, they are close to getting rid of F1 full stop let alone show it in 4K.

Deadly serious. If I wanted to read about Football I would go to the designated area of the forum where this is freely talked about. I am about as interested in reading about Football / Soccer as I am in watching paint dry. Bunch of overpaid prima donna's kicking around a bag of wind for 90 minutes, no thanks.
