It’s with thinking like that ^ for why HDMI 2.0 is not what it could have been. It’s time to stop worrying about legacy and blaze new trails ahead.

^ Seems like Eli doesn’t like to spend any money on anything other than basic color grade in the D.I. suite for it’s possible to blur or erase out almost anything….as well as doing a host of other more complex things. Of course, there is a pay-by-the-pimple fee involved....
I mean seriously, with nearly any brand color correction finishing software, one simply adds the mask, offsets the skin area, tracks it and then the pimple will be gone. Object removal is basic color correction stuff, compared to some features like this…

You provocateur you.

For those neophytes out there who don’t understand Steed’s play on words, allow me - http://bleacherreport.com/articles/4...rld-cup/page/9
My greatest disappointment about the World Cup Qualifiers this week is I think? Paraguay essentially got knocked out, no? Which means the greatest World Cup fan of 2010 probably won’t be there with her cellphone.

P.S.
I don’t understand you guys…..you seem much happier than #18 and #22 on the Happiness List on pages 22-23….http://unsdsn.org/files/2013/09/Worl...013_online.pdf

Is this an enviable inherent trait (being happy on an audio/video forum) or are we catching you guys at home using some sort of supplemental spirit/aide?

This is quite a milestone as I recall a year ago when the viewership was a mere pittance of that 200,000 amount. I would formally like to thank the entire administration of Blu-ray.com was empowering *the 4K movement* despite the fact that there is no 4K Blu-ray format (yet). Also, a big thanks to Steed, Tob, Sap, Anthony, Geoff, etc. and to all the anonymous lurkers both non-industry and industry-affiliated for following everything directly, indirectly and totally unrelated to 4K.

Thanks for being an invaluable source of 4k news/advice and of course, off-topic subjects. Especially enjoyed the 'Pele' picture. You lucky man.

And to think I nearly gave away one of those cherished autographed programs to one of our more *fickle* members who used to visit Blu-ray.com in order to help inspire the young kids on the local club team that he coached.

Anyway, I believe you have to live everyday like it’s your last, for growing old aint easy….http://www.latimes.com/entertainment...0,254453.story

You’ve become a fine friend despite the fact that in your humble case, you never received from me (like others have other the years) a free, expensive O-fficial Blu-ray black leather jacket, various freebie Blu-rays, early access to getting one of the original Playstation 3’s from the first shipment from overseas (while others had to wait in long lines at their local Best Buy, etc.) or contact information to enable you to show your favorite 70mm film at a Film Festival….the ‘favors list’ goes on.

In view of all that, it will be difficult for me to root for Arsenal over Sunderland tomorrow because I never forget my true friends.

So, if some folks don’t get the opportunity to ever see the live 4K broadcast of the Final, at least it would be good to view this title (in bold)…

Kind words, thanks. Feel free to root for arsenal, I am a bit sore after defeat but I soon get over it.
We might even win! (Doubt it though)

Football is a tribal thing. Even introverts like myself who prefer cinema and dining out to pubs and clubs come together for such a cause. It runs in my veins and it always will. So the 'we' is very appropriate. You really hate football don't you? Did someone crunch tackle you at high school?

Holland 4K news from Blu-ray Disc Association

It is some tech news from BDA they have announced that the 4K content on 100 GB disc will be spread over 3 layers.. this is als said byGerman Singulus maker of BR production lines . 100 GB is very crampy for that the content to a max of 2160p could be placed. Extra's must be on a other disc. Last but not least you need a NEW Blu-ray player to play these discs

Don't hold me up for this cause I translated it from Dutch tech site and they have app where it was on so if it's wrong tell me!
