This post is not for everyone. If the shoe fits........

Keep buying all the Honda's and Toyota's and lets see how far we can sink the American auto industry.............There are only MILLIONS of people that rely on their jobs. Great job foreign car buyers!!!!!!! Keep it up.

Yea your right they're all junk. No quality at all. Not like mighty Honda or Toyota. They're the BEST. I think we can get all the auto profits into Japans hands within the next decade if we try really hard. With any luck the 3 American car companies will be bankrupt and we can get all our stuff from China, Japan, etc...... That will be great!

no they're not "the best" but they're higher quality than the crap that most american car companies put out. if i wanted a car that got 22 MPG and broke down after 100k sure i'll get a ford/chevy/dodge.

but i'd rather pay 15k for a car that's going to last well into the 200k miles and gets almost 40 MPG. i'm all about supporting american companies but did you know a ford mustang has more foreign parts than some toyotas?? think about that one.

When did he say they are all junk?

What's wrong with free will?

Are you racist?

What are you thoughts on free trade?

Would you prefer to live in a bubble and not exchange items with somebody in the next state, next city, next block, next tipee?

seriously though what does it matter what kind of car i drive?? if you job is in jepordy, get a different job. you don't have to make me feel bad for buying a foreign car. i don't care if your company can't compete with cheap reliable vehicles. maybe they should try to make a better product.
and with that you've made it onto my ignore list. don't just tell somebody to go out and get a new job, when jobs like his are the backbone of the american economy. i have no idea what you do, but most of our jobs are connected to one another and the big 3 going under, most likely will effect you in some way.

-american made cars are not any more expensive than a toyota or honda, espeically with discounts and deals.

-an american made car today gets as good as, if not better gas milage than most foreign made cars.

-american made cars are not any less reliable anymore than foreign made cars.

and yeah, i know im buying an accord, but thats just the right car for me right now, there were a couple of american made cars that were on my final list, the accord just was the best deal for what i personally wanted. there is nothing wrong with american made cars though and the myth that they are cheaper and more reliable is just hogwash in today's market.

Just to let you know toyota builds the Camry Hybrid in Kentucky. GM makes a lot of cars in mexico and canada. It's not my fault they are losing their jobs, it's the unions putting GM out of busniess. I'm for fair wage but do you think just because some guy is in a union that he should get paid $55 an hour to put tires on a car? My car is 11 years old and it's still better then most GM cars built today. Here is another picture of my car.

I remember reading a year or two ago that Honda and Toyota have more American production plants and provide more American jobs than Ford, Chevy or GM, who have moved to places like Mexico and South America. Unfortunately, I cannot find any proof right now to back that up - you guys ever heard such info before?

Too bad AMERICAN cars both suck and sink themselves! Ford just released a car that gets about 60MPG... Guess where it's going... EUROPE... NOT HERE!

so don't come on here with your american patriotic bull because some of us like nice cars, or want good MPG. You can keep your american made 3 MPG pile of crap!

I grew up with parents buying Fords. The Fix Or Repair Daily was pretty accurate. They gave my parents nothing but headache, they kept buying Ford's still.. Dad finally bought a Honda (after me buying my first used Civic with 130k miles and lasting for a long time after trouble free), headache free for years until he donated it still in running condition...

My first new car was an Acura Integra made in the U.S.

I'm not anti-american cars/trucks. I do like some of them. I just have a preference and free will that I'm entitled to. Thankfully I'm not force to buy in a certain category.. This is the U.S. after all

Wrong! I do not work for a car factory.

If you think that your income isnt at least indirectly effected by what happens in the American auto industry you would be incorrect. This topic could take a long while to discuss. So I wont. You will have yourself to blame when you or your neighbor are out of a job. By the way all you "experts" on American car quality, Check out the recent quality, safety and satisfaction standings. Ford, GM and Chrysler are not as bad as you imagine. I know that I am trying to grandstand to a bunch of professional arguers so I will rest my case here.
