June 2009: Bumper replaced /rear fender painted.
November 2009: Bumper replaced /rear fender painted.
January 2010: Rear Bumper damaged for the 3rd time.

There's a pattern, and I believe the same faculty member keeps hitting her car. GOT DAMN!!! I'm pissed. She's now leaving work and filed a police report.

I am not fond of the upkeep my paint requires. What is your car's three-letter cool guy code again? Like mine is WDP for white diamond pearl. It's been so long since I've been on the Acurazine forum that I've lost my touch a bit.

I'm SOOO done with my car, but I still enjoy a nicely modded and well-kept TL when I see one. Have you ever contemplated bringing in some clear lights to either your turn signals or side markers? Not saying your car needs it or anything (because I personally hate it when people say "you should do this to your car. That would make it better."), but if you need tips on how to do it, I did mine DIY style. Both projects were pretty easy. I also have some really good sources for original Acura parts at low cost. I made it so my mods were 100% reversible.

My car is stock believe it or not. I wanted to change the rear side markers to the smoke color like the Type-S, but I didn't pull the trigger. As of now.. I don't plan to do anything but keeping it clean. It's been raining way too much and I haven't watched my car almost a month!! I usually wash it every 2 weeks.

My car currently has 107,000+ and still running like it's new. In December I got my spark plugs, battery, timing belt, coolant, and MT fluid changed. Damn it was expensive! Anyway my car will be paid off this April!

Stock...yes...but stock A-spec package -- no?

I have done the TL-S rear side markers. I thnk that was the first mod on my TL. Probably the easiest car mod I've ever done, too. Simple plug and play, and totally worth it. Clearing out the front side markers and the turn signals in the headlight housing was a bit more challenging, but super fun and rewarding.

Oh yeah.. it's not stock, but the engine is.

LeAnn bought me the Sway Bars when I got the A-Spec suspension a few years back. Car handles so much better especially when you have sticky tires.

The Side Markers are what around $100 still from Honda/Acura World? I wanted to change out my tail lights to the Type-S, but I've seen the DIY on acurazine.com and you had to take out the rear bumper... That's a No-No for me. LOL

I also had a 2002 RSX-S.. I missed that car sooo much, but I traded her for my TL. Come to find out, my Acura Service Adviser told me the Navy guy that bought my RSX blown the transmission trying to race it. What a dummy since I've never tried racing with it before..I had to get a sedan since young adults would try to race me before and I wanted something bigger. Even when I bought my TL new.. they would still try to race me .

Overall, the TL 6-speed just blows the RXS-S away.

So much TL hotness in here lol. TL will probably be my next car.

MaCruz...that is a shame. I had my Accord hit in a gym parking lot. People are real pricks.

I had a feeling that exterior wasn't just a normal one. Yeah, the side markers are about that much, last I checked. Not too bad, and a very simple mod: pull out the old, put in the new. Very little elbow grease required. I think you just pull the paneling back in the trunk to get to them, then perform the swap. It's a 10-minute mod, or longer if you keep a lot of crap in your trunk that you need to clear out (which I don't).

I had thoughts about getting the A-spec body kit, but I think my wife may have killed me if I followed through with it. Your car looks great as it is now, but yeah the Type-S rear taillights would be sick! I was also contemplating those myself and still kind of am because they're not too expensive in the grand scheme of things, and they're easy to install. I know you're freaking out about removing the bumper, so yeah maybe that mod isn't for you. Did you see what I had to do to get my headlights out so I could clear them?

Neighbors were walking by as I was working on this, and they thought I'd been in an accident and was repairing my car. This was bumper removal and a bit more.

Thanks, man. I usually don't get those kinds of comments by those looking at pics over the 'net; usually that is only said in person. I got a lot of hatin' on the Acura forum for the mods I did. People were always telling me, "you need to do x to your car to make it more aggressive looking." I was like, "no, that's what you would do. I'm not interested in making a white, four-door sedan 'aggressive'; if I wanted to do that, I'd buy a black two-door sportscar." Ahhh...such is the life of a forum junkie.

Acurazine huh? Yeah I don't go there much. I didn't mod my car, but there's just a bunch of children on that forum IMO.

You should at lease get window visors. The JDM ones. Those help a lot when you want to keep the car ventilated.
