they are reliable.. My boss has one under warranty, one day he brought it in for servicing because he heard knocking coming from the engine -I forgot what the problem was what he said, and confirm Lexus replace the engine no questions asked. ( from this particular dealer) i like to hear that type of service.. without cheaping out or going over the top imma go lexus this time.. besides the wife at least deserves it lol

Lol well I just found out my out of state m5 didn't pass inspection so I need 1100 bucks worth of new rotors.

I complained and got them paid for by the dealer who sold me the car

I would advise anyone who thinks the m5's are cool and would be great to own to consider this

Flywheel + Clutch kit = $2569 + $1070 labor
SMG Pump= $2500 + $750 in labor
Vanos x2 = $5000
OEM Rotors = $400 a pop
Coil Packs x10= $610

I'm over thinking it though and I'm concerned about the numbers coming back... M3 e92 is truly a perfect car just everything is working perfect between weight power everything... I should have kept it and maybe if this doesn't fly due to numbers not matching ill grab a frozen color laying around.

is it things breaking early or is it wear and tear costs you don't like? Personally I don't mind higher than avg. wear and tear costs. I do mind like with my e60 when a dealer skimps on paying on something that is right near death and then tries to offset the costs on the buyer.

I drive a baby blue 2011 Hyundai Accent. Lesson learned.....NEVER let your wife go out alone to purchase your new vehicle. I swear, I see the same exact car all the time and 100% of the drivers are old ladies and college aged girls.
