Just for some perspective, I think that Panny’s measly 103” plasma will cost you about $50,000 now in the U.S.….and that’s only for 1080p resolution, not 4k.

I can understand that 4k depends on big screens and this is what most people lack so the market for 4k would be much more of a niche market than 3D.

So I am hoping that we will see more 4k and above workflows in the future and with it the emergence of a 4k hard- and software, although in a first step I will be happy with the 4k hardware.

And I would never want a plasma with only 100". 200" front projection is more like it

Your Idea about me marring Britney was actually very Journalistic.

You are correct most people do not even have the space to see 1080p at full resolution. I can see 4K being used in theaters so they can maintain a competitive edge over home TVs. However maybe someday if we get into holographic projection....

So yes, 4k and 3D is certainly possible but at home this kind of system will not really get very popular

Eskimos might, as it’s also a pretty good secondary heat source but, I wouldn’t at all be surprised if plasmas > 100" require the electrical installation of something like a 30Amp 220Volt sub panel.

Well, I can’t take credit for something that wasn’t my idea, nor anything that I had anything to do with in the first place....nor do I know what the heck you're talking about but, if this thing somehow worked out for you……then I’m happy.

Boise State started that game as if they were shot out of a cannon. 10-0 in about five minutes if I recall.

You’ve got your own Insider’s thread on Blu-ray.com to promote your product.

Then my posting a link to slides like this….
http://provideocoalition.com/index.p...patr2010_4/P1/

should be the ultimate turn-off to those looking for “celebrity gossip” from Hollywood Post (HPA) types.

Helluva a football game! I was really impressed with Boise State because playing at FedEx Field in Landover, Md. last night, was almost like playing at Virginia Tech’s home stadium in Blacksburg, Virginia...in terms of crowd support.

If Boise State remains unbeaten, it certainly will be interesting to see how the rankings end up before the Bowl games are announced.
