Phenomenal movie. Definitely in my all-time top 10. I bought the DVD and it looks really good upconverted. Can't imagine what blu will do for this film, since the cinematography is just top-notch and the music is mind-blowing. DDL is on a completely different level than his contemporaries and I think we're all very lucky to have this movie and NCFOM released in the same year. Makes all these other slick, marketing/promotional driven, lowest common denomenator movies look like the contrived pieces of banal trash that they are.

DDL was great as always, but overall the movie was probably a one time view for me. Possibly twice if it comes on cable, but I won't be buying this one. I just didn't get into the story as much as I thought I would. I thought the supporting cast was kinda weak too
