I notice since posting this pic over 6 hours ago - https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...y#post15706301
thee echo chamber known as social media has latched on and since erupted with the same and/or additional photos of/from action on the set of Top Gun: Maverick by the fans.

Seems more and more motion pictures these days also ‘feel the need’ for drone support, so I’m wondering if stills from that overhead perspective should be shared with others soon or saved later for the lead-up to the launch of the actual theatrical release.

You’ll just have to wait, watch and see.

Reminds me, since last we spoke about capturing events with a camera operator (rather than an actress) seated on the back of a motorcycle….https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...y#post13632805

There is some recent non-proprietary news with regards to camera upgrades and their potential use for live events….https://www.grassvalley.com/press/20...sports-events/
I think the LDX 86N 4K HDR RF camera head ^ is a good choice.

Talking Doubt we'll see either "Raptor" in Top Gun: Maverick

Looks like California Motorcycle Tag 9Z9982 was last seen in Jurassic World.

You've got good eyes.
If only to keep it all mysterious, photo agencies should learn that masking/redaction is always one’s friend - https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...k#post15623969

And in front of the staging area before the talent arrived -

Afterwards which, some lucky homeowner ^ will have a rather unique conversational piece to share with friends for years to come while stepping out from the house and doing a nice nature hike along the adjacent ‘Loop’ trail in the neighborhood -> ->

Not in HDR afaik, but this unfinished Orson Welles motion picture underwent a 4K DI, so it’s worth a mention and apparently available for viewing on Netflix as of yesterday -

For non-cinephiles and/or those unfamiliar, background about the film (its been a long time in the making) -

I got a little too frisky on the ride today and tweaked my back, no big deal, just an annoying muscle strain, I’m thinking definitely no surgery necessary, but nevertheless, happy to hear about advanced imaging developing with enough precision to proceed in applications intended to improve the quality of one’s life - https://www.healthimaging.com/topics...osoft-hololens .

And cars <- not only Robert Zohn, but also being of interest to gkolb (for Midway 2019).

So then, this past week, this camera car was used to film the motorcycle moving scene in Top Gun: Maverick with Tom and Jen in San Pedro -

Pop Quiz/Riddle for movie enthusiasts….In what motion picture does the character played by Val Kilmer (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000174/), after watching a theatrical performance with his friends in a stage box, say - “Very Instructive”.

The internet has a YouTube videoclip of the scene in question, but it cuts off right before Val’s comment. There is actually some relevance to this query, it is not a random question.

Wondered if it could be Real Genius, or Top Secret, but I queried the Internets who said it could be Tombstone?
