Only if they put down a monetary deposit like cash, jewelry, car pink slip. I've tried it with small children but that didn't work because I now have 6 kids I can't get rid of and it's frowned upon to sell them

I let people borrow certain movies, I have lent out my copy of Insomnia (Nolan version) but it is someone I trust and who has replaced a disc he thought he damaged (turns out his Blu-ray player was a piece of crap not the movie I lent him).
If it's a special edition of any kind I do NOT (unless it's a combo pack then I'll lend out the DVD).
Long story short, if it's someone I can trust then yes, I will lend out a movie unless it's a special edition of something

Generations of my family have taken that oath and I myself have taken it. Freedom of speech is part of that same Constitution that we swear to defend with all we have.

The term used was racially insensitive and offensive to a significant group of people. With that said, we have the right to say what we want, offensive or not. I am grateful that we can speak freely and that means I, and you, have to endure speech we disagree with.

But the First Amendment does not apply to website forums, debating this further could get this thread locked and the debaters suspended. Enjoy the Fourth and back on topic: I do not lend movies or money; why risk getting either back?
