That's not to say you can't get 4K (or higher) from them, you're just tied to a size/resolution equation that requires you to go bigger/more expensive and with certain sizes.
Looking forward to Micro-Led.

Here's the link to our product webpage for Samsung's flagship MicroLED TVs & we also have the .pdf specification sheet:

https://valueelectronics.com/product...d-microled-tv/

We'll have one of these MicroLED TVs setup and on display at our July 26, 2025 TV Shootout® Evaluation event.

Robert, just a curious inquiry, what size/ how big would this microLED be compared to the other screens? Will it be in competition, or just a novelty?

From what I have seen at CES and in private meetings Samsung's MicroLED TVs do deliver a moderately better picture than other brands and models of MiniLED TV.

We'll just be showing Samsung's MS1C MicroLED at our July 26, 2025 TV Shootout®, but it will not be competing in the event.

Here's the lates sale prices:

114″ $149,999, 101″ $129,999, 89″$109,999. Includes White Glove Nationwide Delivery
1yr interest free financing or take 2% discount w/credit card payment

It is a 114-inch model, introduced last year.

They seem like nice people, but they have become extremely rich from shilling. I think that might take away from some of there credibility

The manufacturing technique advancements required for high-yield mass-production of microLED have been coming along quite nicely, in the last year and this one, and things are almost to the point where microLED could toddle into the ring and trade punches with OLED, in the mass-market fight for TV supremacy. It could be as early as 2027, when all the pieces for affordable consumer microLED TVs are lined up and ready.

I expect Micro-led to quickly supplant OLED in the market

Without more production lines, that won't happen and OLED has far too much of a lead in that and it also has perfected production techniques. Gotta get the production techniques for microLED sorted out first, then you adapt existing production lines of microLED panels and build new lines for those techniques, then you spend a year or so getting the new and existing lines in order with the production techniques and making them give good yields, and then the lines become "profitable", when high-yield and mass-production align. Minimum, a year is typically needed for any line to "get good" and attain high-yield rates.

Once all of that happens, I expect Micro-led to supplant OLED.

He compared Samsung's entry level OLED TV against Sony's Flagship OLED TV. So it's not a fair apples to apples comparison review.

That's why I have argued that the Bravia 8 MII shouldn't be classified as a "flagship" TV. Sony made a mistake here.

That makes it even worse that an entry level OLED which is much less expensive is as good as SONYs “Flagship TV”

Without a reference display there can't be a win loss or draw. There has to be a defined target to judge them against.

Ok, I get the reference display point you're making. However, why do I get the feeling that if this comparisons would have been extremely favorable for Sony, no one make the argument for the need for a reference monitor.

Because you are obsessed with Sony. Anyone that has anything positive to say about their products must be a paid Sony shill.
