Yeah, this EMA seems rather forgettable. I guess we have to wait until Comic Con now....

I thought he had said before we wouldn't get any big announcements until Comic Con.

Paramount won't be attending SDCC for some reason, so don't expect anything out of them there.

Any thoughts on why they are not attending?

Paramount has done a VERY good job so far for this year.
Transformers, Iron Man and the Godfather (rumored ) are a damn good start at redemption for them.
From what I was told by an "insider" on this board is that Paramount VERY MUCH wants to appear serious about bluray.

I have a hard time believing they can surprise us with much more.

About the only thing Paramount could do to really get people MORE excited would be for them to convince Lucas to release Indiana Jones quadrilogy (its a word now!) on bluray.

Hey any Hollywood insider,

Can anyone foresee an animation feature win an Oscar for best picture? Wall-E is deserving of such praise.

I thought Ratatouille was just as deserving, if not more so. Wall*E was great cinema, but honestly it didn't do as much for me as their last one. Pixar is still batting 100 with me though!!

Doh! I probably shouldn't use baseball lingo since I don't ever watch it and honestly have no interest in it either

I guess this goes to show that people from other forums should always take things hinted to on Blu-ray.com with a "grain of salt".

As Wicky was off by a whole 3 - 4 days with when the title would be officially announced !

I have seen the expression "a boulder of salt" used by people in other forums to refence the information provided here.

As long as you know people at GDMX and realize what banding is, I don’t care if you use baseball, basketball, or soccer lingo for that matter.

P.S.

Yes, I'm happy that Spain won on Sunday.
