Nice find. Didn't expect to see that coming from the Archive. I actually just sold my DVD seasons a few months ago since they were added to Netflix in HD

Interesting. I love Batman, but I haven't seen this series and have had it highly recommended to me.

Like most shows, the first season is iffy, but it really hits it's stride by the second season.

Excellent, will definitely be upgrading to the Blu-Ray releases.

Hopefully Warner Archive will continue with season 2 on Blu-Ray, and include the missing episode (43 - The Mask of Matches Malone) this time around. Only a cropped version of that episode (43 - The Mask of Matches Malone) was included on the DVD release of season 3.

Love this show... luckily I only have Season 1-Part 2 on DVD so I'll be fine getting this. I really hope we get the other seasons on BD as well. Just the other day I watched my favorite episode (of the ones I've seen) entitled 'Death Race to Oblivion!' and loved it... that was one of the few I got from iTunes in HD and it looked gorgeous streamed in 1080p from my Apple TV. Can't wait for these seasons to come out!

Bout damn time. I've really wanted to watch this show but I've been holding out for Blu-rays. Hopefully Green Lantern follows soon.

Awesome. Day one purchase. Such a shame it was cancelled for that new "Darker" Batman series.

Bah!!! No offense, but why would you do a thing like that? Granted it unexpectedly worked out with the pending BD release, but I would never sell off any DVDs of content not available on Blu-Ray just because a streaming service has it in HD. I can understand opting to watch it in HD on Netflix while available, but things get pulled off of Netflix all of the time, and I wouldn't hedge my bets like that when access to the content potentially go away entirely.

It's like people who sold off ALL of their DVDs when they got onboard with Blu-Ray. No consideration was taken into content that may never see the light of day on BD (I have A LOT of DVDs that I'm sure will never make it to BD), or bonus features that don't carry over, etc. I just don't grasp the thought process.

I don't need to own everything forever. I blind-bought them along with seasons of "The Batman" when BB had them for $4.99 each. I figured it was the type of show that I'd probably only watch one time, so given the opportunity to watch it in HD, I opted to sell the DVD's at that point. Something I likely would have done anyway after watching the discs. If I had unlimited space, I'd love to keep everything, but living in a small NYC apartment, you sometimes have to make decisions like this

Netflix will also have them for several years, as it's part of multi-year deal they made with The Cartoon Network (Turner/Warner).

That is a lot cheaper than I expected. If you can find some other things on WBshop, there are $5 and $10 codes floating around.

This is pretty cool to hear! I might pick this up. I'm happy it's a complete first season set, rather than being cut up into 3 volumes or whatever... I can't find a first season set at my Target. Just the volumes with like 5 episodes each! D:

I've only seen a couple episodes of it on Netflix, but it's super fun. It's very fun, silly, but at the same time also very well-made

Archive titles usually show up on amazon though. Not sure if the delay in release is usual though.
