I haven't seen a single scene of this, but on recommendation I bought the Blu-ray box set the other week, so I'll start digging into it soon.

I realize what forum I'm on, but I have a question.
Wondering about rewatching this soon.
I have the Blu-Ray box set. But unsure if I should watch it on Blu-Ray or 4K Netflix.
Thoughts?

'Breaking Bad' Movie From Creator Vince Gilligan in the Works

A new chapter in Breaking Bad is in the works.

Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan is working on a two-hour movie, though it remains unclear if that will be released theatrically or made for television.

Representatives for Gilligan and Breaking Bad producers Sony Pictures Television did not immediately respond to THR's requests for comment.

Details on the project, which has been floating around the industry with a possible fake/working title of Greenbrier, are slim. It's unclear if the movie would be another prequel — like AMC's Better Call Saul — or a follow-up of some sort. It's also unclear is if any of the original stars, such as Bryan Cranston or Aaron Paul, are involved in the new project, which sources stress will be set in the existing Breaking Bad franchise.

Gilligan, sources say, will pen the script, executive produce and possibly direct. Breaking Bad and prequel series Better Call Saul exec producers Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein are also said to be attached to the film project, which is said to follow the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom. Production is expected to begin this month in New Mexico. The New Mexico Film Office confirmed that a project with the title of Greenbrier is slated to shoot in in the region.

Breaking Bad became a critical breakout for AMC and ran for five seasons. AMC and producers Sony TV quickly greenlighted the prequel Better Call Saul as Gilligan's follow-up series. Saul, featuring Bob Odenkirk's small-time lawyer, has been renewed for a fifth season, which set to air in 2019.

The Breaking Bad movie would mark Gilligan's first project to stem from the new three-year overall deal he signed with Sony TV in July. Sources said the pact is valued at less than $50 million as Gilligan is not in the same volume space as producers like Shonda Rhimes and Ryan Murphy, who both signed nine-figure deals with Netflix.

A Breaking Bad film (of any sort) would be a boon for Sony TV, which, as an independent studio, has been fighting an uphill battle in an era when ownership has become increasingly important.

Gilligan's new deal keeps one of television's most respected showrunners in the business at the studio, which continues to focus on cable and streaming deals after a dismal upfront season in which it landed one new series on the five broadcast networks.

Cautiously optimistic about this. Definitely need more details regarding who is in it and when it's set.

Not sure I like the idea of a movie. What I liked about Breaking Bad, and Better Call Saul, for that matter, is their willingness to slow things down and take their time getting places. The episodes where people complained nothing happened? I loved those.

Willing to trust Gillgian though!

The moment the news was announced and the tagline was given for the synopsis, I knew it was Jesse's finale. If there was one character who got next to zero closure with the series, it was him and Aaron Paul got shortchanged. So I'm extremely pleased that the one flaw of the final 16 episodes will be addressed with a film. Jesse was the soul of the story.

Between Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul (the superior of the two shows and I've watched BrBa at least seven or eight times), and this wrap up film, this is the greatest saga ever told since The Godfather.

There's no way Walt and even Saul at the very least won't be part of this. You cannot have a Breaking Bad movie without Walt especially. Flashbacks will surely be part of it.

1.) You got Saul in his own show.

2.) I suppose we could see The @r$ehole but I'll be frank, after X amount of rewatches, I'm sick of Walter White. Well written character, fantastic performance, but a massive prick who shouldn't be worshipped and idolized like he was. 62 episodes was enough, really. Anyone who wants more of that cancer have totally misread the point of the series, which I think it pretty accurate of the fanbase at large.

Both guys are covered in the story department. Jesse needs his moment to shine and round out the main story.

The thing is that Walter's treatment of Jesse and his role in Jesse's life is way too big to ignore. Whether Walter becomes a hallucination due to Jesse's damaged psyche or Jesse remembers a time with Walter that we haven't seen, it would be crazy to think he's not a part of this movie in some way.

Okay? It doesn't matter if he has his own show or not. There's speculation that Saul's B&W flash forwards deal with Jesse anyway.. Remember that mysterious Taxi that appeared in BCS this year from New Mexico?

And again, there is 0% chance that Walt will not be in any sort of follow up to Breaking Bad. Literally 0.

Hank Schrader's homemade Schraderbräu beer is now a reality thanks to California's Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co.

It should be on shelves in late May and will be available online and in select national retailers. It'll retail somewhere between $5.99 and $6.99 a bottle. It's got a 6.3 ABV, so it's a nice little buzz in a 22-ounce bottle.

Actor Dean Norris says, "I'm excited. We talked about it a long time ago, but it's finally coming. It took a long time to find the right brewery. I knew if I put out a beer, it's gonna get a lot of scrutiny — I don’t want people going, 'Ah this is crap.' We finally got one that made a really fantastic beer."

$5.99 to $6.99 a bottle that’s a rip off.
