Yeah, the first couple episodes are kinda meh, but once you get to the end of the season and start the second one, oh my lord is it good. Seriously. I kinda felt the same way about Dexter when I first started watching it after an episode or two, but got back into it and it's now my favorite show.

I hope you guys enjoyed this weeks 10 seconds of Walter Jr. :\
really good episode. mild spoilers I am a little surprised though at how much the writers are allowing Walt to let Skylar control so much. On one hand, I feel its a little out of character for him---or at least, not what I thought was going to happen. BUT at the same time it is pretty interesting to watch how into this lifestyle she is getting. She's quick to remind Walt of what he's done and the postion that he's put his family in. But I feel like she's just copping out now to hide the fact that she's kind of getting sucked in and enjoying it. BUT Walt IS deflecting a lot of the REAL aspects to the lifestyle. So she really hasn't had any real reason yet to dislike it. It will be interesting see how she handles things if/when it starts gettin real for her. Last edited by Toptube; 08-08-2011 at 07:37 PM. |

It's ok, I kinda thought he said something like that too. But during the 9th episode I think he's talking to Marie about how the El Paso incident affected him so much. So if he was even considering a divorce I doubt he'd talk to her about that

Awesome!
![]() Glad they aren't going to stretch it out for too long. A final (Extended) season is perfect. I am just worried about doing two more seasons of 8 and 8. On the plus side, that is 2 more Emmys for Cranston but I think it would disrupt flow too much. Especially if we have to wait a year between them. August 12 August 19 August 26 September 2 September 9 September 16 September 23 September 30 (Walking dead premieres the following week?) ---------------- then when would they do the final 8? In January like season 3? Or wait all the wait until summer again? |

I have a feeling both seasons will show in the same year. It sounds to me like its a desperate move by AMC to keep people tuning in to their channel, and advertisers still thinking about them, as they struggle to find other shows that will prove as successful or even more successful than Mad Men and Breaking Bad.
Mild Spoilers It seems to me that Gus is planning to try and turn Jesse against Walt, but I cannot at all figure out why he would go to the trouble of doing that. I also don't think its going to work. Jesse may be pretty lucid right now, but he's loyal. Last edited by Toptube; 08-15-2011 at 01:18 PM. |

People are a little hard on AMC these days. I think they know what they are doing despite all the crap they've been through recently financially with their shows. |

At the very least, I'd expect they would show eight episodes and then break for eight weeks, then show the final eight episodes. That gives them a twenty-four week span, which is basically half a year. |
