I watched all of season 1 and 2 without missing a show. Then I think thats when they took a year off before season 3 was made. I never got back into it. When Black Friday rolls around again and if these drop dirt cheap again. I'm buying all the seasons and starting over.

No - a couple of times the series premiere has been a couple of months later than the previous year (e.g. season one ran from Jan - Mar 2008 while season two started in Mar 2009; season three ran from Mar - Jun 2010 with season four starting in July 2011) but the show's had a season (or half in season 5's case) a year shown since it began 2008.

It is definitely worth getting into again though, if you get a chance. Season 3 onwards is where it really steps its game up (although season 2 might be my favourite standalone season, simply for how well structured it is as a whole).

Not sure, but I'm waiting for the full season Blu-ray. I am guessing that there wont be very many extra features on that first half season Blu-ray. And since the fifth whole season is the end of the show, I suspect that Blu-ray will have a LOT of bonus material.

I started watching 3 weeks ago and finished the entire thing Friday. Thank you Netflix. I work 6am - 2.30pm and was hammering 5-6 episode a day some days! The missus was gold just happy to watch out of order when she got home with a quick catch up explanation from me lol.

I'd put it top 3 with sopranos and the wire for sure. Not quite sopranos but better than the wire! That's no insult though as I'm now on my third go through with Sopranos. Just can't wait till July for some more BB!

The first half of Season 5 is not on Netflix yet. But it's out there . . . . try not to let it eat at you.

It is now my man I use the UK version and its right up to episode 8 of season 5! I'd of downloaded it by now otherwise I'm not patient!!

Williamson told TheWrap the script hasn't yet been been recovered by the sheriff's department, and the investigation is ongoing.

It's unknown how the theft and the potential leak of storyline secrets will affect the filming of the crime drama's final season, set to begin airing in July.

(Updated) Sony, which produces the series, has issued the following statement today regarding this incident: “We applaud the efforts of the Albuquerque police in their arrest of the alleged perpetrator and we look forward to sharing the incredible last season with viewers when the series premieres later this year.”

The show has officially wrapped I believe. RJ Mitte tweeted he was done yesterday afternoon as his final day. Dean Norris and Betsy Brand said the same thing Tuesday I believe.

Maybe Bryan Cranston/Aaron Paul have a couple more scenes, but for the most part, the show is officially wrapped.

That doesn't make sense, The Killing premieres on June 2. Unless they're splitting the season.

The Killing is only 10 episodes and the premiere and finale are each 2 hour episodes.
