The build up to that shoot out was much better than the actual shoot out. It was hard to watch it because I think we all knew Todd and Co were going to be on their way. The whole time Hank was arresting Walt and phoning Marie, I was just waiting for a sudden gunshot and then Hank going down.

I think Hank and Gomez is done for next week but I can't see them killing Hank and Jesse in the same scene. I'm not sure how Jesse would get out of it though, I don't think Walt will be able to save him especially after he realises Hank has just been killed.
I'm not sure how I feel about the ending in the middle of a scene either. Tonight I really took note to it because the episode was roughly 1 minute shorter than the max allowed by AMC for an episode. So they could have included Hank dying (or whoever) at the end of this episode. Another thing I could possibly think of is that Dean Norris (Hank) was scheduled for a certain amount of episodes in his contract for the final episodes or whatever and therefore has to appear (even briefly) in another episode so they couldn't show him dying. Finally, Each episode would be significantly stronger if they included the following scenes they make us wait a week for.

The actual shootout was pretty great also. Even if we all knew it was coming, it was shocking to actually see it. There comes a point in a television show where everyone gets so obsessed we can predict everything. The execution was perfect though. It's like in a movie (or a TV Show) when you predict the ending and you feel a bit let down but then you are thrilled when you see the acting, how it plays out, etc.

I have no idea what to expect with Jesse next week...I'm still wondering if even Walt was somehow hurt.

It was a great scene.

As Hank said, he is a greedy bastard. It was extremely reasonable. Walt is completely losing it right now. He is not in the right frame of mind with the cancer(?) back, all the stuff going on with his family, especially Hank (and Marie), and of course everything with Jesse. Everyone slips.

I've been talking about this for weeks. There have been several chances (and really good ones) for it to come up. I'm guessing since it has not been revealed yet, there is a really good moment for it to come up. I would be completely devastated if that was not revealed.

Okay, that looks a bit better I figured the discs would be like that. I wish the barrel was yellow though with some Green on it I'm buying it either way, including the individual season set. because I'm obsessed Wonder what it will launch at? Most seasons are often available for ~$20 each or less. So that would be $120. Plus ~$50 for the barrel/bonus features... so $169.99 launch? Or less? Hopefully not more

Here is more info:

2 Hour Documentary
ALL bonus features from previously released seasons (including retail exclusives formerly only available in select stores)
a Los Pollos Hermanos apron
collectible booklet with a letter from Gilligan
commemorative Breaking Bad challenge coin designed and created by Gilligan exclusively for this set

What are the retail exclusives? I never knew there were any?

If this is accurate the price is $225.

That's just the pre-order price right now. No way it launches for that. Like I said, you can buy each season individually for barely over $100. The barrel wouldn't have a $100+ price tag. But then again, who knows. I just can't imagine it going for over $200. $199.99 would be the ultimate limit. Does anyone know what some other series sets have gone for?

I don't know that AMC has ever even released a complete series Blu-Ray set, to my knowledge. I'd say the 175 dollar price point you mentioned earlier is probably going to stick.

Yeah, I know AMC hasn't. Curious just about series sets in general. I don't think any would go for over $200. The most recent I can think of was Friends.

That launched for $149.99 with a $279.98 MSRP. 46% savings

$179.99 would be 40% off the list for the BrBa set.

so yeah, I'm sticking with $159-$179 range for launch.

I found this out awhile ago, but it is indeed confirmed true now.

SPOILER ALERT! DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU WANT TO BE SURPRISED! IT IS IN REGARDS TO A PLOT IN EPISODE 6 -
[Show spoiler]Gretchen is confirmed to appear in the next episode

According to other sources,
[Show spoiler]many cast members are set to reprise their roles in the final episodes. Krazy-8, Mike, Gale, and Tuco will appear.

I know I said I wasn't going to look at stuff -- but the first spoiler I heard about weeks ago and it is now being "confirmed" again along with additional mentions in the 2nd spoiler. To me, it isn't a big deal knowing this as I sort of expected it anyways, but I still am giving fair warning to anyone who reads it!

Also, a brief spoiler for the series finale -
[Show spoiler]Badger is confirmed to appear.

Hank might die next week but I really dont think it will be in the opening scene due to the gunfight with the nazis
They could, but he could also assume they're just after his money and will happily kill Walt, meaning Hank doesn't get the guy he's after.
