I guess I didn't then, which I'm completely ok with. I figured it would at least have to do with BB...

There's enthusiasm and then there's over the top, unnecessary enthusiasm. Hardwick fits the latter.

The cast discussed their favorite moments at Comic Con this weekend.

Includes major spoilers if you haven't seen the series so far (also discusses that season 2 moment many of us were discussing a few weeks ago)

Discussing their favorite iconic moments from the show’s five season, Cranston tipped his hat to his famous and frightening
[Show spoiler]“I am the one who knocks!” speech. But he anointed the season 2 overdose death of Jane (Krysten Ritter] as the most impactful scene, one in which Walt had a “turn.” Later in the panel, Cranston brought up that scene again, recounting how the original version of the script had Walt pushing her back on the bed when she was choking on her vomit, but Sony and AMC felt that it was too soon in the show’s run for Walt to turn that dark. Gilligan reworked the scene on the day of shooting so Walt wouldn’t see Jane fall back onto her back because he was trying to wake up Jesse, “and the jostling would make her fall back naturally,” says Cranston. “The culpable moment for Walt is when he recognizes that this girl could die, and what does he do then?… I think it turned out beautifully.” Paul referenced “Tastes like a scab” and “Yeah, *****? Magnets!” before discussing a scene in Season 2’s “Four Days Out,” in which Walt is trying to teach Jesse a lesson about building a battery to charge the RV. The scene was the last one shot at the end of a 16-hour day and a long week. After they finished shooting, a focus puller mentioned in passing Jesse should have asked Walt if they were building a robot. The actors pretended that there was a problem with a camera so they could film one more take, and the line was added.

some great info on a huge season 4 plot. Very interesting back story!

How exactly did Walt administer the highly
[Show spoiler]poisonous Lily of the Valley to Brock (which was never seen in the show)? Gilligan said the writers did hash that out, and decided that “he had just enough time to do it, but it would have been very tricky indeed.” The writers imagined that Walt had crushed some of the flower and put it in a juice box. Given that he was a teacher, he’d know his way around a school, so perhaps he swapped it with Brock’s juice at his nursery school.

I thought the boy seemed to recognize Walt when he was over for dinner at Jesse's in season 5 part 1. He gave Walt a strange look...

I'm glad that
[Show spoiler]they chose not to show Walt administer the poison. I think it had a greater impact being revealed in the last frame in that we see just how manipulative he is with Jesse and that he has no qualms about hurting a little boy.

And yes it does seem like Brock recognizes Walt in Season 5. Wasn't really sure what to make of that.

I actually bought the last one from their website but I also got the extras (not through the 'mtv geek' link or whatever it was: got the Batman one but got Superman instead of the Titan one. I was going through the packing and thought I had received the wrong order when I saw those two figures first. lol

Really nice figure. I thought it was odd to have the fly swatter taped to the outside of the plastic packaging - if I hadn't been looking for it and wanted to throw away the plastic packaging - I would have not seen it.

Default 'Mythbusters' tests 'Breaking Bad' myths

Quote:
First, you get Adam Savage dressed as Heisenberg. And then it only gets better.

Below is a first look at Mythbusters taking on AMC’s Breaking Bad. The long-running Discovery Channel series will put some plot mechanics from acclaimed drama to the test, along with some help from Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan and star Aaron Paul.

Myths include whether you can really dissolve a body — and your tub and bathroom floor — with hydrofluoric acid, and if a packet of mercury fulminate crystals can be used as grenade to blow up a room (the latter requires the creation of a bomb-throwing robot).

This clip just screened during the Mythbusters panel at Comic-Con, but you don’t need to stand in line for hours to watch it. This Mythbusters episode airs Aug 12, the day after Breaking Bad returns for its final batch of episodes Aug. 11.

I had a dream the other night that the series ended with Walt and Jesse hanging out and hugging it out. I was so pissed off like...this is it?

LUCKILY...LUCKILY it was a dream. That would be the worst finale ever.
