It is the best series on television. But the fact you did not like the first 25+ episodes puzzles me as they are incredible and have some great moments of the series.

Great article about Charlie Rose doing a Breaking Bad interview panel.

The article does include a spoiler (not about storyline, but an announcement of a cast member surprise - it really isn't a big deal at all, but some people don't want to know anything)

http://www.latimes.com/entertainment...tory?track=rss

The article does contain a spoiler warning as well if you do not want to know you can still read the rest of the article

It's weird that we haven't gotten a proper trailer by now. I guess those small little teaser clips are all we're getting.

About the Final Episodes

AMC's Emmy® Award-winning drama Breaking Bad returns to AMC for its final eight episodes on Sun., Aug. 11 at 9/8c. At the end of the first half of Season 5, Jesse (Aaron Paul) has abandoned the meth business and parted ways with Walt, who claims to Skyler (Anna Gunn) that he, too, is finished. Yet, in one of the series' most pivotal moments, Hank (Dean Norris) discovers that his unassuming brother-in-law is in fact the elusive Heisenberg he has been tracking for so long. In the highly anticipated series conclusion, the sun begins to set on Walter White's (Bryan Cranston) tenuous empire as the world around him begins to unravel and he finds himself as anything but "the king." Yet, even when all hope might be lost, Walt refuses to back down — determined to fight until the bitter end.

About the Show

Breaking Bad follows protagonist Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a chemistry teacher who lives in New Mexico with his wife (Anna Gunn) and teenage son (RJ Mitte) who has cerebral palsy. White is diagnosed with Stage III cancer and given a prognosis of two years left to live. With a new sense of fearlessness based on his medical prognosis, and a desire to secure his family's financial security, White chooses to enter a dangerous world of drugs and crime and ascends to power in this world. The series explores how a fatal diagnosis such as White's releases a typical man from the daily concerns and constraints of normal society and follows his transformation from mild family man to a kingpin of the drug trade.

Cast

Bryan Cranston - Walter White
Anna Gunn - Skyler White
Aaron Paul - Jesse Pinkman
Dean Norris - Hank Schrader
Betsy Brandt - Marie Schrader
RJ Mitte - Walter White, Jr.
Bob Odenkirk - Saul Goodman

Breaking Bad returns on Sunday nights beginning on Sun., Aug. 11 at 9/8c followed by AMC's new original

There will be a complete series box set at some point. Probably next year.

It will have a 2 hour documentary on the making of the series.

I posted that the other day, but it doesn't mean there will be a box set. A box set can be referred to as just an individual season as well. There was a lot of confusion in regards to what exactly will be released. I'm not doubting a box set but I don't know if it means what we hope it means. It could simply be part 2 of season 5 (or season 6). Or both.

I'm pretty sure the original EW.com article meant the complete series box set. They will be the main selling point for the set since it's a retrospective of the entire series. I don't think Sony would put that on the Season 5B set. And as evidenced in the past, if there is a "Complete Season 5" set, it will be the 2 separate sets packaged together similar to what Sony did with Rescue Me when it had a supersized split season.

Here is the official Comic Con upload (I didn't even know about this one until now)

And here is the full version someone did from the crowd- apparently there are some edits or something with the sound in the first at times.

What does that prove? Just because they are not watching the premiere episodes live does not mean they are not watching or do not like it.
