I'm somewhat bored so I'm browsing around for spoilers even though I have no intentions of reading them myself.

I found the plot synopses for Episodes 9-15 and since I saw the episode already, I decided to read the plot of Episode 9. It was accurate so I figured I'd post them all. Take them with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed.

Do not click if you do not want to (potentially) be spoiled.

I have to admit that was some pretty funny fanfic.

Like everyone else has said, fantastic episode. They wasted no time setting up the pieces. Waiting each week is going to be torture.

Nope, they are not real (the ones for episodes 10-15). Rian Johnson confirmed they're 'very fake'. Hell even the guy who made them said they're not real. No one knows at this point what will happen in the upcoming episodes

Yeah, the opening scene was amazing... it reminded me a lot of (spoilers for whole episode!)
[Show spoiler]Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows because it felt like, "This is truly the end... this is the finale... we are concluding this epic journey and this is the end point." It was very powerful to see the debilitated house, the graffiti on the wall, and seeing the pool in the back being used solely for skateboarding hooligans... so powerful.

My favorite scene in Breaking Bad history is the opening to season 5, where we first see Walt with his hair and mustache, at Denny's, etc. Naturally I adored this pickup point in the new season/half-season!

The rest of the episode wasn't quite as mysterious and dark, but that doesn't mean it was bad. I was surprised that Hank and Walt had their confrontation so soon into the season. It scares me a little, actually, because I thought that would be the main conflict of the season, yet... here it is, concluding in this episode! So now I don't know where the heck the series is going

Great episode, though. Can't wait for next week I also love the way they do the Next Week preview, where they show us random clips of the characters looking around, and add their respective audio from the upcoming episode. That's a nice way to not spoil anything, unlike, you know, True Blood's episode previews

It was great, very excited to see the rest of this play out!

I was a little surprised that
[Show spoiler] they went straight to Hank confronting Walt in this first episode, didn't think Walt would realise until a few episodes in..

I think it is safe to say, at least for me, that this is the most exciting and intense final episodes of any show ever.

It is truly refreshing to go into each episode with no idea where they are headed and what the final end game will be. So many of my favorite shows are either based on a book series or have their major plot points spoiled in advance, but Breaking Bad always keeps me guessing!

Tread lightly!

It's nice to see that they just got right down to it. With only 8 episodes to wrap everything up, there is no time for cat and mouse with Walt and Hank.

I have a few friends that have never seen the show, I told them it is a must watch experience, but there is always a different vibe when you can watch it straight through.

You missed the suspence of the weekly wait that a lot of people went through year after year.

The moment Hank closed the garage door I could not believe what was about to happen... I am really glad they are not wasting any time and went straight to it, like others, I was waiting the situation to drag for a few episodes until something happened between these two... amazing season opener!

The thing that makes Breaking Bad so brilliant is the fact it is so self aware of itself. It knows it's own boundaries and how far it can push things with the fans before it gets too far, it knows which characters we love and which ones we don't and knows for what reasons why and it gets the blend between mystery, suspense and drama just right.

So with that in mind the season opener was pretty pitch perfect in these rules. Like all the season openings, it does have the issue of tidying up last episodes little loose ends (like what
[Show spoiler]extent is it that Walt is out,
and the big one being
[Show spoiler]Cancer
), but it was probably the strongest season opener, it understood that the big conflict we've been wanting to see and it delivers in a way that's both surprising and plays up to the shows strengths, and has already given us the big moment that will be quoted amongst fans.

We also have big things like the
[Show spoiler]temptation of coming back being brought up, Walt's clean slate performance and what will likely play up in the next couple of episodes, Jesse throwing the money out of his car.

A lot to swallow, a lot of distance to travel, but I'm already anxious to see what happens next. I'm going to presume
[Show spoiler]Hank isn't going to take Walt's advice too seriously
(or else that would be a pretty boring conclusion to that thread of the story.)

Ha! I guess the "this will be" was implied. The build-up and expectations from Hank's infamous trip to the White house restroom, in addition to a complete series rewatch over the past month, leads me to believe this will be the best final episodes ever. Better?

Again, I attribute Breaking Bad's greatness to never knowing what to expect. Walt, or should I say Heisenberg, may very well go down as the best TV character ever.
