I'm wondering if Walt Jr. will play a big role in the finale. His character has been (criminally) underused (this season and really in the series) I wonder if they are saving a big moment for him for one of the final episodes

Hey man, if we didn't have Flynn, how could we have a good breakfast scene?

Question about the Methylamine:

[Show spoiler]We see Todd and his people(uncles, I think?) bringing the Methylamine back into New Mexico. Where was it? After the train heist, WW brought to the Pest Shop. Then where did it go? Obviously I'm forgetting something. Did he sell it to Lydia?

1)
[Show spoiler]Again, the show has the most cataclysmic detail boiling underneath, Todd and his Uncle's team of Neo-Nazi's going off to rob another train, that's going to be the thing that'll grab Walter White down the line.

2)
[Show spoiler]Holy shit, Walt Jr. actually popped up in this episode.

3)
[Show spoiler]The confession video was such a doozey twist, showing how Walter White is the king of all manipulators

4)
[Show spoiler]Guessed the ricin cigarette twist when Huel walked in the room and the dope was in Jesse's pocket. It's funny, for such a big guy, Huel is pretty good at pickpocketting.

And finally, 5)
[Show spoiler]I was going to get ready and apologise to Chris just before Jesse was talking about where he wanted to go, but now we know the ricin is definitely not for Jesse now.

They were going to
[Show spoiler]steal more Methylamine from the looks of it.

Something's got to go wrong, that scene must be there for a reason.

Also, minor plot inconsistency -
[Show spoiler]Walt's revolver was burnt down with the Meth lab in Season 4 (on of the investigators picks up the melted remains) so it really shouldn't be in the drinks machine, unless he just like the model so much he brought a new one.

[Show spoiler]Jesse is going to end up dead. Honestly, if next week was his last episode, I would not be surprised at all.
What an amazing show!
Next week's episode is called Rabid Dog. I fear you may be right.

Re-watching the episode now....did anyone else think (or wish?) the restaurant scene would have had difference guests? I read somewhere (maybe here?) that the guests would be Gretchen and her husband lol which I thought would have been cool but I don't think there is enough time to involve more people in plot with only a handful more episodes left.

I love the waiter in the restaurant scene lol absolutely hilarious

And Skylar in her turtleneck.. lol I can't tell if I am very attracted to her or I hate it.

Crazy theory time -
[Show spoiler]Skylar is the one who kills Jesse. Jesse walks straight into their home threatening to burn it down (we don't know if Walt Jr. is home) and Skylar has always been wary of danger coming home, she's already had brush ups with Jesse, so she already doesn't like him and she thinks he's a proper scumbag. And really at the end of the day, will Walt really be able to kill Jesse? She might come in and take care of business as she will do anything to protect her life now that Walt is out.

Might be over thinking it, but what a huge shock that would be.

He worked out that
[Show spoiler]Huel is the one who stole the ricin cigarette instead of Gus, which means he worked out that Walt was the one who poisoned Brock to get him to work with him to bring down Gus.

Maybe Walt Jr. gets killed by Jesse after he comes in and sees Jesse pouring gasoline everywhere.
A lot of talk has been made repeatedly of "protecting the kids" so having something happen to Walt Jr. would certainly bring that into fruition.

I don't think
[Show spoiler]Walt Jr is home when Jesse comes into the house. Granted we don't see Jr's car (he normally parks on the street), but you would think he would have heard Jesse kicking the door in since he didn't get it done on the first kick. Still, it is possible that Jr is there, and maybe that's why the house won't burn (courtesy of the flash forwards)...Jesse doesn't kill innocents.

I like the idea of Skylar killing Jesse though, that would be a cool twist. I was hoping Jesse would have taken a deal with Hank, and then see Hank offer the same deal to Skylar. Skylar accepts, and then Hank punks Jesse, since she's family and Hank previously felt that she was never a willing part of all this. However, given Hank's disdain for Skylar now, no way would that happen.

Bottom line, I'm going to try to stop speculating, and just enjoy the remaining episodes for the wild ride it will definitely be.

Later!

Yup I've learned to stop trying predicting what will happen because through five and a half seasons I've not been right once lol.

I really need to stop reading things around on the Internet lol

But here is a spoiler on a confirmed returning character at one point in these final episodes:
[Show spoiler]Jessica Hecht was filming in Albuquerque last year, reprising her role as the lost love of Walter White’s youth on the concluding season of “Breaking Bad,” when she got a call from Lynne Meadow, the artistic director of Manhattan Theater Club, asking how soon she could be back in New York for a reading of a new play.
