I am excited for the next episode. I got my buddy hooked on the show as well, he had trouble starting but then he got reeled in and ripped through the 3 seasons in 2 weeks.

Sounds about right, this show is it's own Blue Meth, tasting and addicting.

It is almost as good as the show in your avatar but that is more like huffing glue.

No, it is Charlie from It's Always Sunny, I was agreeing with Gamma who got it correct. Gamma's avatar is the lead dude from the USA show Psych. In my avatar Charlie is throwing a temper tantrum in the bar when the gang isn't listening to him. He's face reflected my feelings towards some of the things I read here on the board, so I had to make an avatar from that scene.

Oh my god, what an astonishing episode. This series keeps getting better and better. Hank losing the bet was incredibly funny (especially the look on his face while being pushed out of his room in the wheelchair ) and the ending, wow. Didn't see that one coming. Waiting a week for the conclusion's going to be very hard, I think.
Just one more episode and the season's over. I don't buy many series on Blu-ray (mostly because I think that once you've seen it, you've seen it) but Breaking Bad seems to offer so much in rewatchability, that I'll probably get every season on Blu.

Agreed, that was pretty damn amazing. Of course the ending was brilliant and shocking as hell, but for me the entire episode was incredibly gripping - from start to finish. That's what makes Breaking Bad so effin awesome, first we get the necessary quiet moments establishing the characters, their motivations.. simply paving the way for the inevitable. And as always when the tension peaks we get a perfectly shot kickass scene.

The great writing and directing was one thing, but the cast did a tremendous job as well. Jonathan Banks absolutely nailed his scene at Walt's house. And I don't even need to mention that Cranston and Paul are on fire. They have been all season long.

A+ from me.

Now bring on the finale. I hear it's longer than a regular episode.

+1. Episodes like this one just cement my opinion that this is the best American TV show currently on. I loved everything about it, the way that the writers are so on the ball with gripping, complex plots and fantastic characters, and that the acting is pretty much universally excellent, even the minor and one-off characters. I just hope that everybody can agree on when to end the series, and that they maintain the quality level until that point.

I haven't been this genuinely excited for a TV season finale since ever! Bring it on!

EDIT: Does everyone realize there is a high amount of wife-to-husband
[Show spoiler]ahem...manual stimulation
in this show?

I read through this, and it confused me, but I think it's just slightly longer:

It should be about 48 minutes with limited commercials. It has an hour and a half time slot to show that preview of their new show.

I was wondering if Walt was every going to sack up. Jesse stood eye to eye with Gus and didn't flinch while Walt sat hiding his face in shame like a scolded child. Jesse was ready to go to war and sling bullets, and Walt runs the dudes over with a Hybrid, lmfao, death by hybrid, might was well die in a slap fight cause that would actually be less gay.

I don't blame Walt. Unbeknownst to Jesse, Gus has all the leverage on them. He personally met Walt's family and has Walt feeding from his hand and we all know Gus' opinion on junkies.

In exchange for all of this Walt and Jesse is getting paid $1.5 mil (each or total? can't remember). Jesse being the uninformed and insubordinate rebel decides he wants to be his own boss and starts slinging meth at rehab meetings for a measly few hundred bucks. Yea Jesse had balls standing up to Gus but he's letting his emotions run everything. He's not thinking. Walt is.

Extreme Spoilers for Tomorrow Night's Season Finale:
[Show spoiler]Accoring to 4chan, "Mike plants a car bomb in the aztek on Gus' orders. In the final scene the car blows up with walter jr. in it taking his driving test."

I actually believe this is the real ending to the season finale. It sounds very plausible. I predicted Walter Jr. to die. Literally, I told my friend last week if they want to have an ending to the Season Finale that will leave you Jaw-Dropped, I would say Walt Jr. would have be killed. On the hand, my firend said Gus would be killed. I thought that was possible, but way to predictable for a show like Breaking Bad. So it seems I was right! Yay! I wonder why Gus gives that order? I guess we will find out tomorrow!

[Show spoiler]I have been wondering if something was going to happen to Walt Jr all season long, there was a promotional photo I posted up here a few months before the show started that showed Jr sitting on a park bench with a cup from Gus' chicken shack, and it reminded me a lot of Badger when he was slinging, I just assumed Jr would find out what his dad did and possibly try to sell so he could get closer to his dad. Killing him would be a huge shock, and probably the last straw in what would send Walt permanently over the edge in full blown Scarface territory like they've said he will eventually reach by the series end. Jr has never been an essential character to the story though, besides being Walt's kid he hasn't really had much of his own storyline you know, nothing that has left an impression so his death would see major ripples through the entire cast and effect the direction of the show from now on. So I am all for it if that is in fact what happens.

But as for your question as to why Gus would put out the order, he looked very very pissed off in the preview because Walt went against his orders and killed two of his very trusted allies, and than helped Jesse escape. My guess is the car bomb would just be necessary preventative damage for the future. Only if it is Jr who dies, this will completely back fire on Gus and he's gonna have to go lay low cause he couldn't risk bringing in his army without blowing his cover as the Chicken Man.

[Show spoiler]If this season finale is true, they are totally pulling a "Dexter."

I know Gus seemed very pissed in the preview, but I just see him being very understanding toward Walt, especially after the conversation they had together at Gus' house. I just thought if Walt explained himself and showed why Jesse went against his orders, he would understand and wouldn't be as angry.

I just don't see how two local drug dealers (who I guess sells a big quantity of the blue meth) would be so important to Gus, while the blue meth is spread out all over the U.S.

Walt (and Jesse...) actually make the extremely successful product. They are the reason Gus is making so much money. So Gus is making around 300 or 400 million dollars off of this blue meth (According to Jesse's calculations. I am probably way off of the number is. I totally can't remember, but I know it was big).

I don't see why Gus would risk everything/his whole operation over these two men. They can easily be replaced..... It would be such a stupid mistake from such a careful and smart man.

On a side note, tomorrow's finale runs 10:00-11:47 p.m!!!
