Oooh! That's nice. How many copies did your store have? I'm going to have to look into it. I didn't feel like going to the mall this past weekend because of the holiday.

The use of Baby Blue was perfect. It really drove home the pride he felt over his product, how it was more than a vocation but a literal part of him. His last thoughts weren't of his family but of his true baby, his blue and the satisfaction and love he felt for it. He died in peace knowing he had saved Jesse, savagely ****ed everyone on his shit list and that his art would never be forgotten or duplicated.

Bought the barrel complete series set the other day. Traded in about $60 worth of stuff to FYE and paid about $166 out of pocket. Then sold the UV codes that came with it, so it dropped my out of pocket cost to $136.

Anyways, started watching the 135 minute documentary last night and it's Pretty solid so far. It's more focused on the production of episodes 509-516. I watched up to the start of the 510 segment. They glanced over the production of the show from the Pilot through season 4 pretty quick.

Liked seeing some of the table read from 509. Didn't realize how intense those can be when the actors are in full character.

Well quick update, I'm on Season 3 episode 1. Show is about 5.9/10 so far. I've heard season 3 and 4 is the best, starts getting serious. Im very curious!

Each seasons bests the previous, imho. Although if you think it's a 5.9/10 after 2 seasons I doubt you're going to just automatically start liking it now.

5.9? The show is a 10/10 in season 1. Season 1 is so under rated. But yes, season 3 and 4 really start to amp it up. But there are countless great moments in season 1 and 2. The Pilot is one of the best hours of television in the past decade easily.

I agree, some amazing moments in Season 1 and 2. But they are only moments, and moments pass. I need more than that...

I can kinda see how he might be at that low of a rating at this particular moment. I was sooooo frustrated and annoyed that the big build-up they had been establishing all season with the
[Show spoiler]little flash forwards of the pink bear in Walter's pool and people in hazmat suits gathering things turned out to be nothing more than a stupid plane crash. To me, that was some of the cheapest, crap writing I've seen on a show. All season they have you thinking something is going to go down at Walter's house but...oh it's a plane and Walter is indirectly involved because he let a drug addict die. LAME on multiple levels (not letting her die mind you, just the whole bit with her father and the plane)
. I almost stopped the show because I felt it was so cheap and was afraid the writers would do it again. It still bothers me when I think about it. That said, the show resumed it's greatness and went on to wrap up in style.

Yeah 5.9 is the lowest score I have ever seen anyone giving BB....anyway I loved it like most others so a nice big 10/10 for the whole lot for me.

I think 5.9 may be a little harsh, but as great and as underrated as S1 is no way is it a perfect 10. Definitely agree with Dispatch Ninja, though - each season the show gets better and better up to an incredible final season. And given S1 was strong, that makes for an all-time fantastic series. I think I'd rate them as:
S1: 8.2/10
S2: 8.5/10
S3: 8.7/10
S4: 9.2/10
S5: 10/10
