Great point.

"Breaking Bad" has been very popular on Netflix, but fans have been wondering when the show's final eight episodes will finally arrive on the service.

Now we know: The eight final episodes of "Breaking Bad" hit Netflix on Feb. 24.

If you've been waiting to binge-watch until all five seasons of the show were fully assembled on Netflix, now you know when you should clear your calendar. And those who've already seen "Breaking Bad" may want to delve into the second half of the final season again: Season 5 is widely acclaimed, and many critics have called "Ozymandias," the third-to-last episode of "Breaking Bad," one of the greatest TV episodes of all time.

If you're still hungry for stories from the world of Walter White, the spinoff "Better Call Saul," which was commissioned last year, will arrive on Netflix some time after it airs on AMC.

I had never seen any Breaking Bad before and didn't know anything at all about it except that it is one of the highest rated tv shows ever and it had Bryan Cranston in it.

A local store had season 1 on blu-ray used for $8.95, so I figured I would give it a try. I ended up watching the entire first season in one sitting and absolutely loved it. The next day I bought seasons 2 and 3 at Best Buy for $19.99 each and blazed through them in just a few days. As I was nearing the end of season 3, I traded in some of my least favorite blu-rays for seasons 4 and 5A on blu-ray at the place where I bought season 1 and proceeded to watch them almost non-stop. I finally bought season 5B at Best Buy for $34.95 and finished it off in one sitting.

In less than two weeks, I watched the entire series and only ended up paying about $90 out of pocket for the whole series on blu-ray.

I freakin' love this show! I would rate it in my top three favorite shows of all time, with The X-Files and Game of Thrones. It's quite depressing and dark, but it's also one of the most thrilling, edge-of-your-seat shows I've ever experienced in my life, and it has a lot more dark humor than I was expecting. There are many laugh out loud, yet horribly disturbing moments in this show, and I really dig that a lot. I'm embarrased to admit it, but I also cried a little bit at the end of the last episode when Walt lovingly taps the gauge and then caresses the tank while "Baby Blue" is playing.

After finishing the whole series a couple of days ago, I went back and watched the first episode again last night and I found it much more entertaining this time around with the foreknowledge of what is to come. I think it's hilarious that pretty much the first thing you see is Walter's pants flying through the air, since he isn't wearing them, just like Hal from Malcom in the Middle. I also really love the look on Walt's face when he's holding Hank's gun all awkward at the birthday party, considering how many people he ends up killing later, and the fact that he's already manipulating Jesse from the very beginning by forcing him to go into business with him so he won't turn him in to the cops. I also laughed my ass off at the "Alternate Ending".

I will definitely be enjoying these blu-rays many more times in the future and am so glad I blindly took a chance on this show.

Wow- that's a LOT to take in over a short period of time. Whole seasons in a single viewing? How's your sanity?

Welcome to the world of BB. Quite the ride, huh?

I'm not one who sits down and can breeze through a season or series within days and weeks.

I started watching BB sometime late September, early October. As of right now I'm on episode 3x10 "Fly". The thing is, I just don't have the time to sit and watch multiple episodes. Not even one episode a night or a week sometimes.

So it's been nearly 4 months since I started BB and I'm only on season 3. But like I said, I don't really have the time. I got through season 1 by the middle of October and season 2 by the middle of November. After that, I had no time at all, with holidays and such, to watch anything until this past week. So I started season 3. So far, it's been much better. Through season 1 and 2, I really loved some parts, but other parts I wasn't as engaged as I thought I would be. Maybe when I started the series, my expectation were sky high seeing how everyone seems to love it.

Anyways, I have really enjoyed season 3. I feel much more engaged and have been trying to watch an episode per night. Hopefully once I'm finished with the series, I'll appreciate it much much more. Not that I don't appreciate it now, because I do. I guess I'm just not 'in love' with it yet. But like a few have said, I'm hoping it will be even better upon multiple viewings.

If you'll notice, the only full seasons that I watched in one sitting was the first and the last (5B). Seaon 1 is only about 5 1/2 hours and season 5B about 6 1/2 hours, which is quite the marathon viewing session, but not really that crazy.

I will admit that other than working and sleeping, about all I did for almost two weeks straight was watch Breaking Bad non-stop. It's freakin' addictive!

Also I didn't mention it, but I watched the entire series in my dedicated home theater room that is completely blacked out and has an Epson 1080p projector and a 130" screen and a 7.1 surround setup with two 12" subs. It's far from one of the nicest setups on the site, but it made it feel more like I was watching a 49 hour long film instead of a tv show. The cinematography in this show is absolutely amazing, especially the desert scenes, and the 5.1 DTS-MA is crystal clear throughout with some pretty astounding bass. It really does seem to have the production values of a high quality film.

Just thinking about it makes me want to watch the whole thing again. I think I might actually start back in on the whole series within the next few days, but I'll probably take it just a little bit slower this time around. Maybe three weeks this time?

EXCLUSIVE: Jonathan Banks has joined Bob Odenkirk in Better Call Saul, AMC/Sony TV’s upcoming prequel to Emmy-winning Breaking Bad that centers on Odenkirk‘s unflappable criminal lawyer Saul Goodman. Banks will be a series regular on the show conceived by Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan and Breaking Bad writer-producer Peter Gould. The prequel series, slated to debut on AMC in November, will chronicle the evolution of Saul before he ever became Walter White’s lawyer.

Odenkirk and Banks are the only actors set for Better Call Saul so far. There has been a lot of speculation about which characters from Breaking Bad would make the transition to the prequel. In an interview, Gilligan had suggested that Mike would be a character he would love to see on the new series. Jesse also has been talked about, with Paul and Cranston both stating publicly they would like to be part of the spinoff.

LOL- slowing down in your old age?

This show def deserves to be seen on a quality system. The movie-like production values are a big part of the experience. Some great images, many creative use of cameras/angles and the sound! Like you said, there are some great bass moments. Also some awesome choices of songs. And the sound design as a whole really added to the plot. I like how VG stated that they avoided using music during intense scenes- not trying to tell the viewer how to feel.

What separates this show imo from most everything else is the A+ quality in every aspect of it's creation- starting w/ the most critical (writing and acting) but neglecting nothing.

I got my folks hooked up to Netflix, and talked them into starting Breaking Bad. They were kinda iffy on it when they started, though. But, now? Now, they're on season 4 already. Today they watched three episodes.

Edit: I forgot to say that my folks are 70-ish!
