I rather liked having a 21:9 display.

Yeah I remember that we had one in an office I worked in around 2012/13, think it was one of those Phillips ones. I guess (affordable) projectors will catch up in the end in terms of contrast etc but a 21:9 OLED would be ideal for those of us with limited space!

I can't wait until this TV fails in the marketplace so it can teach LG a lesson. This is not a time to introduce overpriced TVs to the market when people are struggling to make it in these inflationary times. Also, the LG G4 OLED has planned obsolescence written all over it. Why so salty and serious? Just vote with your wallet mate. Prices will eventually drop but a premium product will come with a premium price tag at launch. At least we can trust LG as a TV brand as opposed to Scam-sung.
