It’s dimmer than the s95c and g3 what’s going on.

For a good portion of the stream, FOMO had some feature (I can't recall the name) enabled on the Samsung and the LG, which raised their brightness significantly. As soon as he recalled this and disabled said feature, it was back to an apples to apples comparison. However, it did appear that the firmware update disabled the functionality of many features/settings on the A95L.

Please quote the post so I'm sure to be answering correctly, but I just from reading your last post I believe it would have been Sharp's re-entry into the US market and my interest in their flagship AQUOS XLED and their two new 2023 OLED series TVs.

The poster got the impression that there were affordable MicroLED TVs coming. That is not the case at all. Far from it.

I do expect we'll have an announcement for a couple new MicroLED TVs at CES's early January 2024 convention.

I would agree. But nothing that will be less than 6 figures in price. IMO it will never be a consumer mass market product - strictly super high end. As a matter of fact:

What is the best TV in the 50-55" TV size? Flagship TV's start at 65" it seems!

Frustrating for people with limited space.

Most flagship TVs start at the 55" screen size. The very best 55" TV is Sony's new flagship XR-55A95L Master Series QD OLED TV for $2,799 all in and delivered to your home with a 5% store credit promotion. So you also have $140 too goo towards any a/v equipment, accessories or the 3 year extended warranty.

Other very nice premium 55" TVs are LG's new flagship 55" G3 Gallery Series MLA OLED TV is on sale for $1,899 and the sale ends Oct. 14th.

LG and Sony Oleds are at 42, 48, and 55. Samsung oled is at 55.

Had a chance to see the A95L yesterday, and was very impressed with the display. Brightness, deep blacks, and vivid colors along with a great processor. Certainly looks like the top TV this year.

Im excited to see that the Sony A95L is coming in the 55" screen size in my market this year. Looks like next year on sale price is the most likely purchase on the horizon for my next display... Here is hoping its around LG G3 price when thats discounted
