Question: Tell us what your make and model is, someone here might have the same and know the answer.
Sometimes you won’t know for a display unless a pro calibrator runs the numbers on it.
lol no worries

It's a LG SJ800v, might be the LG SJ8000 in the US/other markets

Keep in mind though, I watch everything in a room that is a black pit. So transitions can be jarring when the APL shifts drastically, even at normal viewing levels for projection, which is about half of what the average is for flat panels.
I wouldn’t worry about it.
And for those of you/us who no longer own front projectors (I sold mine awhile ago) and are multi-room flat panel exclusive now (Wendell, you too?), referring back to the 10,000 nit Sony TV demo at CES, if memory serves, it was presented in a pretty blacked out room similar to the ambient light level of Robert’s recent Value Electronics shootout for the HDR Reference Mode viewing category and everyone seemed happy with the appearance of the content.

OK cheers. I should get a copy finally...

No, I am still very much a front projector type person . I still like to follow professional direct view monitors but my main interest is projectors. For me, sound is 50% of the viewing experience and 13 loudspeakers in a 14 x 27 foot room requires a large screen (133" scope screen). I would rather watch a imperfect picture on the right than a perfect picture on the left (the ratios are correct for a 65" direct view and 2.35:1 content).

For those who were concerned about pricing on Amazon UK, I've confirmed that units are being processed and should appear online imminently and are eligible for Prime.

Final price is about £40.50, which tracks the price Euro price of €45.

Seems higher than US prices, but US prices exclude sales tax and UK prices include VAT.

The UK version includes healthcare as a special bonus feature.

O ye of little faith.
We just received the units in the USA yesterday, and I just sent the discs today (DHL) to our distributor in Canada. It will probably appear on Amazon over the weekend.

Years ago, I turned off the ability for international customers to purchase our products on Amazon US. That’s because a lot of our products are lighting products and we have specific international versions with different adapters.

If there is a country that is not served, let me know and I will work with a local distributor to get it, at least, into one retailer in your country.

Seriously I'm a bit disappointed that it took this long. Uhd disc came out in early 2016 and it took over three years for this to happen. While Ryan P. Masciola released the uhd calibrations awhile back. I may still pick one up though

I've got Ryan's patterns, Mehanik's are also very good. But I'm still getting this disc on day 1.

I just bought it on Amazon through Scenic Labs. Not sure if you know about Scenic Labs but they specialize in bias lights. I have bought a couple of lights from them and there customer service is second to none. Their lights are bad ass too.

Thanks for being patient. The discs were signed for at Amazon UK two days ago and I received a notice that they were being received now. The discs will arrive at the medialight UK website tomorrow.

I am told that hitting refresh a lot will make them work faster.

We only received the disks in the USA yesterday. Now that we see how long it can take, we will re-order accordingly.

Absolutely on the bias light info and can confirm their CS is outstanding as well.
