What is a good calibration disc - Blu-ray Forum

HI, i was just wondering, im about ready to buy a Sony 60A3000 and wanted to no wat calibration disc to use, if anyone has any suggestions and knows where i can get one, I would really appreciate it, thanx

The only one I know for Blu-ray is on the Ratatouille disc and I didn't really like it though.

Digital Video Essentials is great.

Avia is good but at least the version I have is too old now,.. I think there are some newer ones.

I think both of these are coming to Blu Ray eventually.

My Terminator 2 disc has THX Optimode patterns on it that are usefull.

If you're thinking detailed calibration with color meter the look at avsforum for the calibration section and grab the free and great HFCR software and then obtain or rent a color meter. They have a test disc you can download that is Blu Ray format on a DVD so the test patterns are all HD.

I used the THX optimiser on the " Lion King " special edition DVD. I found the Ratatouille one too hard.
