Default Thinking about Calibration DVD disc or wait for the BLU-RAY disc coming out in March

Hey Guy, I am thinking about buying or renting a Calibration disc for my Panny Plasma but I was wondering what is the difference between a DVD or the blu-ray version that supposely coming out in March. I do watch blu-ray alot by the way. Should I wait for the blu-ray or just go for the DVD version. Which Calibration disc would u recommand if I go for the DVD version? Thanks for the help

you should get both the standard version and the bluray version.

that way you can calibrate for dvd sources and HD sources.

DVE thing looks cool. I'd feel taken advantage of though if I paid $18 for it

...no, its way worth it. (could potentially keep your HDTV lifespan longer)

If you know how to burn from a dvd file, you can pull this off of AVS and use it. The AVCHD is a BD version and displays at 1080P. Read through the thread a little. It is basically the same as DVE is going to be, but free. The link is below.

If you have Ratatouille on bd there's a few patterns to adjust your set and it is in hd.
