All the QB's play well in Philly, thanks to the system installed by Reid and now carried on by Shurmer/Kelly. Just look at all the QB's who performed well in Philly then just dropped off the map when the went elsewhere:
McNabb, Vick, Kobb, Foles? and now Sanchez is going from bad to good.
Can you just imagine if Chip swings a deal to land Mariota...in THIS offense!!

And not to take anything away from GB. They might be the most complete team in the NFL.
Would say I hate to argue with you on this one but your wrong in the regards of Reid installing a system in Philly, when Kelly came in it was totally changed. Walrus is not wrong about the Sanchize being a bad QB he really is a BAD QB. He had shown flashes of brilliance in NY as well. If you recall he did take them to several divisional title games.

Well we can agree to disagree, but all the QB's I listed excelled in Philly under Reid, and now Kelly, then almost immediately regressed as soon as they all left the system.
As for Sanchez, he's 1-1, and we'll see how he does in the next 6 games.

You're going to have to give up a lot of draft picks to get close to Mariota .

No we won't:

Mariota decides to stay for his Senior year, Eagles win NFL championship this season, tank next season, claim #1 pick, win NFL championship the following season.

Yeah, that's not going to happen. While it would be interesting, Kelly & Co. have earned my trust on drafts as they've had two very productive ones. So I'm confident we can land some great talent.
The injury to Foles really hurts, not only for losing your starting QB, but this season was supposed to be his "measuring stick" against last season(which was historic). Also our O-Line is finally getting healthy and we lose the QB!
That just shows how deep this team is!

You can see all you want but hes not your answer, and you wont be getting Mariota unless you give up an awful lot to the Raiders to get him.

I never said he was the answer. Everyone knows he's just a stopgap. If anything he's trying to earn the starting spot somewhere else next season.
I don't even know if Foles is the answer at QB.

How about never Detroit and Dallas ALWAYS play on Thanksgiving, Detroit started that game in the 30's and Dallas picked up on it and started there's in 71, Detroit and Dallas playing is tradition and should never be removed.

That's because it was played on....wait for it...Thanksgiving, when a lot people are only home watching TV. I'm sure other teams could pull just as good ratings, if not better. Of course we'll never know because it's always Dallas/Detroit.

Actually Dallas started in '66, but I digress...
A tradition in Detroit and Dallas maybe...it's certainly no tradition of mine.
The tradition for most(if not all) not a fan of those 2 team is FOOTBALL on Thanksgiving, not Detroit/Dallas.
As I said, give other teams a chance to get in on the action.
Yeah I was thrilled to watch an 0-16 Detroit team play on Thanksgiving, a few years ago.
Give me a break. How many playoff wins between those 2 team in the last TWO DECADES? Yeah, I'm all for a healthy rotation of teams.

Good or bad the Cowboys always bring in the best ratings. If the Cowboys didn't play on Thanksgiving the game would still get good ratings, but not as high as the ratings the Cowboys bring. Last year the Cowboys were involved in 4 of the 6 most-watched regular season NFL games, including the top 2 most-watched games, and this year's Cowboys-Seahawks game was the most-watched TV program since the Academy Awards and Fox's highest-rated game in almost 3 years.

I understand all of that...but unless Dallas is ever subtracted from the Thanksgiving equation, we'll never know if any of the other teams with huge fansbases(at home on Thanksgiving) could produce the same, or better, ratings.

Way to stay classy Saints Fan!

It wasn't THE football, but it was a football, nonetheless.

There was a point during the game when it appeared that despite her best efforts, she would be going back home to Versailles, Kentucky, empty-handed. Thanks to a kind gesture from the Saints organization, that didn't happen.

Midway through the third quarter, Cincinnati tight end Jermaine Gresham caught a 1-yard touchdown pass that put the Bengals up 19-3 when he jogged over to the end zone wall. As he approached, two female Bengals fans -- one dressed in a black A.J. Green jersey and the other in an orange Bengals T-shirt -- had just jogged down the section's steps to the edge of the wall. They were excitedly pleading for the ball when Gresham complied.

But what none of them, not Gresham nor the women asking for the ball, had expected was the male Saints fan lurking nearby in the first row.

As the ball left Gresham's hands, the Saints fan, identified by the Cincinnati Enquirer as a man named Tony Williams, leaped in front of the two women. As the one in the Green jersey -- identified by the Enquirer as Barrett -- caught the flip, Williams snatched the ball from her. In the same motion, he sat back down, putting the ball underneath his right arm.

It stayed there the rest of the game.

"He should be ashamed of himself," Gresham told a reporter from The Associated Press after the game.

After the game, Gresham took to Twitter to apologize to one of the women involved.

@JGresham84 - @PrincipalCara Truly sorry about you guys not getting that ball. I'll make sure you guys receive something greater for compensation.

Other Bengals players told ESPN.com they were flabbergasted by the snatch.

"That was dirty!" said offensive tackle Andre Smith, an inactive lineman who watched the incident from the sideline.

The woman in the orange shirt, Barrett's friend, Cara Meadows, told the Enquirer how adamant Williams was about keeping the football.

"He kept saying, 'No, ma'am,' " Meadows said. " 'No, ma'am.' "

It wasn't until the game was ending that the Saints found a different football and gave it to Barrett.

Williams kept his.

"It's very simple," he told the Enquirer. "I caught the football.

"I didn't mean to hit that young lady. I was just reaching for the football."

Apparently other Saints fans near him didn't agree with his actions.

As the teams prepared for the ensuing kickoff during a television timeout, fans in the section chanted, "Give her the ball! Give her the ball!" Their audible frustration could be heard throughout the building.

The chants did nothing to change Williams' mind.

The catch was the second scoring play Gresham was part of. He also recovered his own fumble in the end zone in the first quarter after catching a 12-yard pass.
What a d-bag.

All stadiums have those few idiotic fans, it's just a fact of life unfortunately.
Which is why unless I'm getting luxury box tickets, I'm staying home with my NFL Sunday Ticket.
