You can't blame Smith for the secondary being on the 4th and 5th string guys. Our D has been injured all year, and the lack of any backups is on the GM. He's had good offenses without an offensive line or defense. Hard to win games that way. The O line is the reason we're losing today.

There's still plenty of game left, but even if they win this game(and the division), I would think Atlanta would, at the very minimum, need to get to the NFC champ game...and let's face that is not going to happen.
I figured this game could go either way, but what the hell Atlanta??

Philly has a horrible secondary, the O-line starters never together played 1 game this season, did not have our starting QB for the 2nd half of the season, and don't have a bonified stud like Julio Jones...and we went 10-6 in arguably a tougher division.
That's not even taking into consideration all the other bad years Smith has had. He needs to go!

Atlanta has 4 OL guys on IR. 1 before the season, and 2 over the first 2 games. We had a TE playing RT for half a game. And comparing the Atlanta D to anyone is a joke. They are by far the worst in the league.

But yes, he will be fired. But he's a scapegoat more than anything else.

We weren't going to take either QB with the #1 or #2 pick. I just wanted to trade back and gather up more picks. That's still my preferred option. Top players I want would be Amari Cooper and Leonard Williams.

Why would Detroit even challange this? Lacy was, clearly, hit while on the ground which means he's automatically down by contact. The ball came out after he was down by contact.
