Hey I would want the owner of my team doing just that. Jerruh is a heck of a businessman, so I wouldn't blame him one bit for trying.

I do applaud the league for putting their foot down on this issue, as hopefully, it will set a precedence going forward.

It won't. There will always be owners with more money than sense.

Suh is dirty, but he's still one of the top DT in the league.

Yep... sad to say even though he's dirty and I hate that, I would still want him on the Titans.

However, I don't want us to throw all that money at him especially since we haven't seen him as a 3-4 DE. I'm sure he'd do just fine... but not worth that small risk for ~$30-40mil guaranteed.

Wouldn't complain if we signed him though... this team needs big name players. But I'd just hope that he finally learns a lesson with this suspension. Possibly the biggest game of his life, and he's missing it because he was a selfish idiot.

Brady restructures contract again but waiting to see how much it saves pats...much more cash to move around for..Revis and mccourty $$

Quote:
On Saturday, the final three years of Brady’s contract -- $7 million in 2015, $8 million in 2016 and $9 million in 2017 – became fully guaranteed for “skill.” When that happened, it required the Patriots to have a $24 million cash commitment on their budget and by the end of March, the team would have had to have put that money up with the NFL because of league requirements. But with Brady agreeing to change the guarantee from “skill” to only “injury,” it means the Patriots don’t have to do that. So the team gains cash-flow flexibility with this move. It does not affect the salary cap.

Just another ride on the Genocoaster

Geno Smith 0 QB rating week 8
Geno Smith perfect QB rating week 17

not the biggest fan, but I would like to see the guy get a fair shot with a better coaching staff

Now both New Jersey QBs have that achievement on their resume.

Edit: Nevermind.... Geno's 0 rating doesn't actually count because he attempted less than 10 passes (8).

Considering how hard it is to get a perfect rating (it's only been done 4 times in the last 4 years), this is the All-Star group that has done the last 4:
Robert Griffin III (2012 vs Philadelphia)
Nick Foles (2013 @Oakland)
Alex Smith (2013 @Oakland)
Geno Smith (2014 vs Miami)

For my money, the most impressive would be Bobby Hebert in 1993 for the Falcons against the Saints. He went 14-18, for 243 yds with 3 TDs.... and he only played the 4th quarter.

Looking really good for Dallas now...man if they find a way to lose this one!
Do you remember Dallas' last two games vs. Detroit? I'm still trying to figure out how they found ways to lose those!

Is this passer rating (which has been used for years)?

Or Total QBR (which was created by ESPN and is heavily flawed)?

I remember Grossman had at least a game or two with a perfect passer rating and a game or two with a 0 passer rating. At the time, he was the only QB to have done it. Now, Geno joins him.

I didn't watch the game, but the Dolphins do this every year now... implode at the end. I'm willing to bet his perfect passer rating was due to the fact that the Dolphins players were out there dogging it or something.

Man Loses Bet, Puts String Cheese In Aaron Rodgers Jersey In Butt [NSFW]

It is my fiduciary responsibility to alert you to this very NSFW photo of a Bears fan putting a stick of string cheese that is outfitted in a tiny Aaron Rodgers jersey up his butt. The Bears fan—Reddit user /u/mshotts—lost a bet and had to provide photographic evidence of it going up his butt. If you haven't lost a bet, you have no good excuse to look at this photo. It's really gross. Here we go.

The story goes, back in November on /r/NFL, mshotts was feeling bullish on the Bears' chances in the second half of the season. He wrote at the time:

If we go 5-11 I'll stick a cheesestick with a little Rodgers jersey up my ass with video proof. Go ahead and tag me.
The Bears went 5-11. Below, find the string cheese, the healing ointment apparently used as lubricant, the saran wrap condom, and one adorable handmade Aaron Rodgers jersey.

Forget Cutler, just have to look at Albert Haynesworth's contract which he received after raking a man's face with his cleat.

Sorry Raiders, Jets and Bears fans Harbaugh just signed his U of M Contract

Quote:
Harbaugh has signed his Michigan contract, a source told The Detroit News on Monday night. Terms were not immediately known.

The source spoke to The News on condition of anonymity because Michigan had not announced that Harbaugh had been hired.

Not sure anyone was expecting Harbaugh to coach any of those teams. It's been a pretty far gone conclusion that he's going to Ann Arbor.
