You never know, that whole division is a mess. Lol

The Eagles also have a brutal three game stretch near the end of the year of Bills Pats Cards. Hard to see them making up ground against that schedule, so they better be pretty set going in to it if they want to win the division.

If I had to pick an NFC East winner right now with all the division unknowns it'd be the Giants. They get their toughest games out of the way early, and the universe hates me so will do something to make Eli Manning look like a great QB again.

I've seen enough of your posts to know your prognostications rarely pan out.
Weren't you the guy that blasted the drafting of Mariota? Do you have his jersey yet? Be honest!
I guess you're just anti-Chip, which is your opinion. Nothing close to fact.
We can revisit this after week 17 concludes. Unlike you I don't go all knee jerk after two weeks. That's just a rookie mistake.

The last 2 times the Giants played the AFC East were in 2007 and 2011, and both those years they won the Super Bowl, so they may be due for another run.

Week 3, Oakland doesn't have a losing record and we've got the Browns next.

This season might already be a success. We might be 2-1! This reminds me of the legendary Hue Jackson days!

Season is young. It's too soon to tell who the strongest teams are.

Dude... What are you talking about?

He dumped Mathis and Herremans and chose this OL. And it sucks.

That's on him. He's a horrible GM.

ugh not again

Giants are one of those teams that play up to their potential 10% of the time

and when they do the whole team top to bottom plays like all-pros

He is the GM though. Lol

I was a Chip fan until he took over full control of personnel.

That's the whole argument here. It's the point I've been making. He obviously had success as a coach. But he's mixed in the responsibilities of GM with his job and now he sucks.

So which posts? The one where I said the Cowboys would suck last year? Yea I was wrong. Admitted that pretty early on.

Never was mad with the Mariota draft pick. I was expecting it for about a month leading up to the draft. I accepted it. I understood the reasoning behind it all along. But I did say he'd be a bust in the wrong system and thought Whiz was a horrible fit for him.

Wrong again... But that's okay. Glad to be wrong in this case. And yea, I mentioned I bought his jersey before the preseason. Why wouldn't I? McNair was literally the only jersey I could wear. Mariota brings relevance. It was refreshing to buy and wear a jersey of a well known player. I hadn't bought one since 2008 when I got a CJ one. Haven't worn it since 2010 because he was dead to me after that.

He only has the best two game start for any QB in the history of the league, so I'd say I'm pretty pleased with my jersey purchase... so far.

And I'm never going to be given props for being right... People just point out when I'm wrong. Just the way it goes.

All I know is I'm right more than Webster when it comes to player personnel. And I know I'm right about Chip blowing up the team. But that was an easy call a 3rd grader could've made.

Chip took over a very talented team in Philly... He's dumped most of the elite talent and hasn't done a very good job of bringing in new guys.

it's still only 2 games lol. I don't see how you can make that kind of judgment so quickly. They could easily have been 1-1 instead of 0-2.

Got rid of Foles, McCoy, Maclin, Mathis, Herremans... and replaced them with nothing.

I don't need any time to know that's dumb.

Again, unlike you I don't make assumptions based on 2 games.
Maybe if this was Chips first year, but it's not. Like any other team that overhauls the squad it takes some time to gel.
9-7 could easily win this division, and that's definitely in the realm of possibility.
So like I said earlier I will render my decision after week 17 concludes.
That's actually the truth!

The part that I found odd was that Philly gave a 2015 4th round pick and a 2016 2nd round pick (or a 2016 4th round pick if Bradford plays less than 50% of this year's snaps) in addition to Foles (Philly also received the Rams 2015 5th round pick). It wasn't a sure thing that Bradford was even going to make the Rams this year. They wanted him to take a sizeable pay cut and if he had refused it was possible he could have been cut. At the very least the Eagles should have made it a condition of the trade that they'd get a period to negotiate with Bradford to either take a pay cut or sign a new deal before the trade was consummated, because it's very likely Bradford would have agreed to a restructured deal but he had no reason to take a pay cut after the trade was done.
