He was limping bad...they didn't hold him out....and if they brought him back it...dumbest move ever

I've seen Witten play through that, twice just this season, however Witten might be the toughest TE to ever play the game. 198(I believe) consecutive games played, most ever for a Cowboy. On a team with more consistent QB play and a less talented WR corp he'd probably be putting up much better #s, oh well. *KNOCKS ON WOOD AGAIN* Two huge career mile stones in 200 consecutive games played and 1000 career catches in such a horrifically lost season, I feel really bad for the man.

I would even sit Brady once the game gets out of hand, he's been taking a beating lately and as much as you like Jimmy, I doubt you want him starting at QB for you in the play-offs.

No sitting Brady...and he won't...he wants to run up the score on everyone based on all this BS that;s happening.

Not that it would've mattered, Philly was gonna light 'em up regardless!
Maybe the Patriots will follow the rest of the undefeated teams and lose another game.

Love this thing, use it every year. Starting to believe somewhat in our playoff chances, but I'm sure the Jets will do their craptacular best to dash those hopes like they seemingly do year in, year out.

The Broncos are good enough to contend for a Super Bowl with their defense, so they need to worry about doing what's best for their team, not giving one of the all-time greats a proper exit. Manning is as competitive as they come and it might not be a pretty situation if the team doesn't play him once he's healthy.
Seems like if Mannng had the running game of last night, it would've helped him out earlier this season. It is going to be interesting, but how do you bench Peyton Manning?

Does it hurt Manning's legacy if he gets the second ring as the backup qb?

It is strange to think about, but I think Brady's legacy would've also been hurt if he lost SB 49. He would've been the guy who won 3 straight with great teams then lost 3 straight.

Can't believe the Chiefs and Texans are the AFC wild cards. They were dead in the water.

I don't think I've ever seen an injury like the one to Jamaal Charles galvanize a team from one of the worst in the NFL into a legitimate play-off contender like that before. Guess Andy Reid still has some juice left in the tank after all.

Totally. Crazy how KC came roaring back with 5 straight wins. Good for them.

Unlike a retread like Fisher who has a talented team and drives it into the ground.

Another Monday, another admission by the league that a bad call cost a team a win:

Quote:
But there was a blown call: According to Titans coach Mike Mularkey, the NFL has admitted that the defensive holding penalty against Titans cornerback B.W. Webb that kept alive the Raiders’ final drive was a poorly officiated play.

On the play in question, the Raiders were facing fourth-and-8 with 1:57 remaining, and a Derek Carr pass fell incomplete. If not for the penalty, the Titans would have taken over with a 21-17 lead and would’ve just had to kneel down three times to run out the clock and win the game. Instead, the penalty gave the Raiders a first down, and Oakland scored the game-winning touchdown two plays later.
I don't know what the deal is this year that has resulted in such poor officiating but the NFL needs to do something to fix this. It's an embarrassment and it's happening multiple times per week.

Eli Manning is probably the luckiest qb ever. His receivers make more circus catches than anyone.

ODB one hand catch yesterday.

Make every call challengeable ?

Teams would still get only 3 challenges so they couldnt go crazy with them.

I know it opens up a can of worms with the "what if theres a holding somewhere during the play does that get called too" stuff but at least it would fix scenarios like this.

Not to mention shortening up the rulebook would allow these guys to actually get some of the calls down better/faster. It seems they're afraid to call some things now.

First in picks, Near bottom in TD's, destroyed arm, destroyed body and Osweiler is playing competently. Kubiak surely isn't as dumb as Byron Scott and his undying love for Kobe (still hasn't even though Kobe has) that he can't see the truth. It sucks, but it is what it is.

Patriots cut Chris Harper. He muffed a punt on SNF.

Belichick is cold blooded.
