Lions got screwed again Saints were gifted a fumble recovery after the whistle blew. Can't believe they overturned that one. Every team gets bad calls, but none worse than the Lions

edit: Saints convert on 4th down where the receiver's foot was out of bounds. Not sure how they could not overturn that one

[Show spoiler]I sound like a Lions fan, but I'm not. Just a fan of the lost art of consistency

The illegal formation penalty on the Saints at the end of the first half yesterday won me my fantasy matchup. I had an 8.7-point lead entering the Monday night game and had nobody left while my opponent had Tim Hightower. When Hightower scored my opponent took the lead but since the touchdown was taken off the board I ended up winning by 0.2 and making the finals.

The CFL sent an offer to the Jaguars for Blackmon. I think most of us here have moved on as we have a bright future what it looks like with Bortles, Robinson, and Hurns.

Hard to believe Bortles has thrown for over 30 TD's this year, but the stats that truly hurts was his interceptions that cost us close games this year. High expectations next year, but I'm happy where the Jags are going. We need some pieces on defense and we can truly win more ball games in 2016 and make the playoffs.

Woodson is one of my favorite defensive players of all time. Still making huge plays at the age of 39.

Brandin Cooks sunk me in my big league. Lost by 6 pts. Should have started Tyrod. Lamenting that loss

I finally got around to watching The Four Falls of Buffalo. I held up better than I thought I would, I only cried twice. It was really, really well done. I can't recommend it enough.

The Butler went from no-name Super Bowl hero to shut-down corner, not bad.

Delanie Walker and Jurrell Casey elected as alternates to Pro Bowl.

Straight garbage. Walker didn't even finish top 10 in the TE vote. Nobody even knows who he is because he's a Titans.

This can't be a surprise though, right? We know how it goes every year. (and it seems like it's getting worse every year) This is a popularity contest which is why Aaron Rodgers & Calvin Johnson got voted in again this year. By the time the actual Pro Bowl rolls around, you'll have guys like Sam Bradford and Roddy White starting. Don't take it personal

I don't give two shits about the Pro Bowl, and I will continue to not watch it.

But when your team wins 5 games in two seasons get back with me... We're just looking for something, anything to hang our hats on.

It's fine... Anyone with a brain knows Delanie is a top 5 TE and deserves to be honored for his performance on the worst team in the league.

Same people who don't know Delanie think Andrew Luck is a top 5 QB, so their opinions are wrong to begin with.

Having a franchise QB is something to hang your hat on. Manning is gone after next season, Brady a few seasons after that so the AFC will be wide open for a new prime QB if the Titans can get Mariota the help he needs.

With all due respect, you seem particularly salty not only about other people's perception of your team, but about other people's opinion about a division rival's QB (who you clearly don't like). Honestly, it's starting to seem like a no respect/woe is me act to me with the "get back to me" routine.

Quick history lesson/perspective:

If we're talking solely about the Tennessee Titans (including the Tennessee Oilers) and not the old Houston Oilers franchise, your team has has been in existence in Tennessee since 1997. We're talking 18 years if in fact you were watching from the very beginning. On the flip side, my team has been in existence for 56 years (since 1959) and aside from the historical SB III victory (which I wasn't even alive for; my earliest memory as a fan is from 1980), over the past 35 years I have endured the fake spike, the butt fumble, Rich Kotite, garbage QB after garbage QB, countless meltdowns by us/comebacks by the opposition and not just in-game collapses, but season-long/decade-long franchise collapses. It's not a who's team sucks more pissing contest, it's fact. That being said, I could argue that it's far better to be mired in relative obscurity with one SB appearance than it is to endure the pain, suffering and hardship that my team puts me through on a yearly basis.

Ask a knowledgeable NFL football fan about TEN and they might go, "Pfft, who cares, it's the Titans?!" Now ask that same fan about the NYJ and most likely they will burst out in laughter and muse about what losers we are. I submit that you might just be in a much better position than I as a fan.

PS - Be thankful you even have a team in such a small market. You could be a current SD, STL or OAK fan who's team is in flux without any indication of what the future brings or worse yet, live in a city that had a team, but lost it to relocation.
