I'm calling it right now. Peyton doesn't retire. He ends up going to Houston or some other marginal playoff team hoping he can somehow guide them to another championship.

Not really. They had very similar numbers tonight. Both threw a pick and had two fumbles. Peyton threw for 100 years less. QB rating about the same for each. Denver's defense was the difference.

I'm perfectly ok with Manning winning with a great defense after he got blamed all those years when his awful defenses let him down, and somehow it was always Manning's fault that they lost.

Absolutely. Manning's performance outperformed a _lot_ of Superbowl losers, even if it is up there with the worst of the winners.

If Peyton had a good game I think he might have gone out on top. The way he played today I'll bet he hangs around under the false assumption he can lead another team to a Super Bowl.

Cam had 22 incomplete passes. Peyton attempted 23. Obviously it was because of Denver's D... But Cam stunk tonight. If it weren't for the 2 or 3 broken plays, he wouldn't have thrown for more than 175.
