Well we can do Champinship win percentage. I think Philly is 1/26.5 years.
Dallas is probably half that. Definitely impressive, although the two decade drought is hurting that average.

Btw, did your owner recruit Fitzpicktrick yet?
Even Cleveland fans can laugh at that.
Fair enough, but when historians speak of NFL football, most preface it with "in the SB era," so there's that.

Maybe I'm not as clued in on the offseason Jets/Fitzpatrick drama as much as you are, so do you have a link where I can share in the floor-rolling laughter?

When the most notable thing your franchise has done in the past 45 years is the buttfumble, you haven't been very good [emoji23]

teams shouldn't have to apologize for winning championships regardless of when they won. that's such a pathetic argument people make...... "oh, look who's living in the past!!" i had a guy defriend me on facebook b/c of how much crap i gave him over being a Vikings fan. his go-to argument every time..... "at least i'm not living in the past."

of course you're not.....your past sucks as bad as the present!!

even if it was 50, 60, 70 years ago, it doesn't change the fact that they were the best team in the league that year.

it's not living in the past, it's boasting that your team has been the dominant team on more than 1 occasion.
Nope not in the least, a SB win is a SB win. Like I stated in my follow up post, most historians refer to past championship history as occurring in the SB-era.

Hey, there's no ifs ands or buts about it, PHI has owned us throughout the series, but again, who cares? They're an NFC team that we've played a whopping 10 times in 50+ years.

Break out the erasers folks!
Oh jeez, if I'm breaking out the erasers, then you're firing up the flux capacitor and the silver DeLorean.

Talk about a slow news day!

I'm sure those same historians do not discount the prior decades of NA football play either.
I saw the article on PFT, I'm sure it made the rounds last week when I originally posted it.
I would try www(dot)google(dot)com.

Uhm, not really...although that would be nice.
Just acknowledging history, not changing it.

Sorry, facts are facts.

I will agree that it is a slow news day.

So is the trophy undergoes, yet, another name change every team is stripped of their championship(s) the last 50 years?

Brilliant logic!

Some trolling at it's finest, you must really be bored today, haha.

Here you go...PHI was bad ass in a time when either nobody remembers or cares to acknowledge. Better?

In this day and age, the bottom line is that the majority of fans care about one thing, SB rings.

To me all championships are valid. old format and current format. what I think they did right is they can't be combined. some teams were not around back then and to be fair with all 32 teams now. So Philadelphia's 3 titles are as valuable as the jets' one. history counts, it can't be erased.

As I said previously don't bring up the 1899 NL Champion Brooklyn Superbas when talking about World Series rings.
