win and we're in this weekend. Obviously a top 2 seed would be nice but damn I just want to experience the Playoffs again. 14 years is a long ass time. We're road warriors anyway. We usually play better on the road.

There is no way in hell I will be watching, but a miracle Jets win would be nice so that we can move higher up in the draft with the Rams pick. We also have a shot at a wildcard and a Dolphins loss would help.

So I'm instant messaging with a business partner from Cali a few mins ago. We have been chatting for a few years now and talk about football every once in a while, but the subject started about me asking about how you feel about the Raiders going into January. He goes on the defensive about how he's sick and tired of people hating on Oakland and told me to STFU and worry about my sorry ass Jags, while he worries about his Raiders.

It kind of bothers me how defensive this guy got at me for no apparent reason but anyway, no more football talk with this dude. If I have to contact this person again, it will be strictly business nothing else.

I do think this person is still pissed about the loss against KC.

sounds like a whiny girl. He needs to focus on our "defensive" issues rather than being defensive about the hate

Just get back to him come playoff time when the Raiders get trounced by the Chiefs or Patriots, which seems likely.

not scared of either of them

we had 15 opportunities to beat KC the last game. All self-imposed blunders. Bad snap for an easy FG. Carr with the worst throw of his career on a wide open TD. Osemele was out AND Carr couldn't play under center. Give us just those two things and we probably win. I know that sounds arrogant and excuse-heavy but we all know our teams. But, I want New England in the snow. A chance at revenge 15 years later!

I was gonna say something negative, but I didn't want to waste my time at work debating or comparing between a playoff team and a non playoff team. I had to let this one go. Guy was probably was having a bad day to begin with. In the past all our conversations were pretty friendly.

Anyway, I'm pretty excited for the last couple weeks of the season. Going to be very interesting going into the postseason.

We lost a home game by playing in Mexico. I'm glad we're getting one back by playing in San Diego. The Chargers blasted noise during practice and used a silent snap count all week because of the number of Raider fans expected

Wonder if you'll say the same thing tomorrow night if the Cowboys-Bucs game is a lopsided blow-out that's pretty much over at half-time.

Bucs are red-hot and usually don't play in prime time so they'll be bringing their A game, will definitely be a tough game to win.
