I used to be in the "never miss a game" camp, but once I missed a couple due to unavoidable life events, I could no longer say I had never missed a game. I didn't go to our finale last year against the Texans... which was smart because we were losing that game 34-0 late into the 4th.

I have zero issue skipping next week's game. The Texans have nothing to play for. We have nothing to play for. I honestly hope we lose at this point. If Mariota wasn't dead I would go next week and pull for us... because he's our future and every win he gets matters. What Cassel does in a meaningless game is... well... meaningless.

I can't go. This game was hyped up as a winner take all intense game. Now it means nothing and Cassel is starting for us. Lol I'm sure they'll rest some of their starters as well. Although I think they should play all their starters within reason to get a rhythm going with Savage.

One thing I know for sure... the Texans suck. Hope they get embarrassed again like last year's epic shutout. We were the best team in the division but let it slip away. Oh well... JRob (our GM) is going to get this sh*t fixed in the offseason. Inexcusably bad secondary we have. If you watch a Titans/Jags game you'd actually think Bortles is a legit top notch franchise QB. That's how bad our secondary is.

Still trying to wrap my head around the fact that we went 7-3 outside our division with wins against the Lions, Dolphins, Packers, Broncos, and Chiefs. Yet we go 1-4 in our garbage division. What a waste.

Texans, enjoy it while you can now. Titans will be back next year to take over this division and expose the teams in this division for what they truly are - frauds.

Good news is the Rams lost... and they are giving us a top 6 draft pick. Just keep on losing, LA. Finish strong for us with another L next week.

There's just so little football every year so I try to catch every game I can, granted I've only actually gone to one game since 2010. Wish I could afford to go to more!

I thought about 10-6, maybe 11-5 this year before Romo went down. Never would've guessed we'd be thinking maybe 14-2 and wrapping up the #1 everything in the NFC in week 16 before we even play. I thought Prescott would be a good QB but I thought it would take him a year or two to get there, now I can't wait to see what he'll look like after an off-season of lifting and running and film study.

Definitely agree with that. I will still watch the game. I've never not watched one of our games. I've skipped out attending a few, but I always watch.

Going to our games is almost a whole day event. Have to leave my place no later than 10:30 to make it in time. I usually don't get home until 5. When I was younger, time meant nothing to me. Now it is much more valuable and I'm not going to waste my entire day for a meaningless game ever again.

It definitely makes you see why the NFL tries to protect quarterbacks so much. The Raiders and Titans with Carr and Mariota weaken their teams greatly.

Ya gotta think that the balance of power in the AFC has shifted even more so towards NE. At this point, I think PIT is the only team able to take them down.

Yeah there's only so many franchise and borderline franchise QBs in the NFL. Why I think the Cowboys should be able to clean up in a sign and trade for Romo, despite his age and injury history.

if the lions lose, the packers and lions would have the same record. and since the Packers beat the Lions earlier in the season, that should put the Packers into the 3rd Seed instead of the 6th seed.

I believe the Lions are 9-5 so even if they beat the Cowboys they will be 10-5. Packers beat them next week to go to 10-6 and win the division by virtue of owning the head-to-head tiebreaker. Not sure what happens if they drop to 9-6 and then beat the Packers, probably creates a huge mess. Better if the Packers just beat them next week.

that's why i'm hoping for a lions loss tomorrow night and a packer win next week, makes the whole thing easy.

Packers win and in
Packers lose and still get in if Redskins lose

Lions win one game and in
Lions win both for division

Redskins in if they win and the Lions lose both or the Packers lose

Rodgers is a strange kind of star quarterback. Obviously a future Hall of Famer, but there is something about him that just seems 'off' to me.

Salty about what, exactly? GB has been a nemesis long before him. Detroit historic losing is organizational failure, to most teams in general. So what am I salty about?
