Brian Dawkins isn't a member of the 30-30 club. And Pro Bowls are a joke. All-Pro is something else, and 6 times is impressive.

Oh 30 forced fumbles. Didn't even know that was a club. I always think of 30-30 as sacks and picks.

I agree, on the surface Pro Bowls aren't that big of a deal, but to players, and more importantly to the voters, they are.
I never knew he held the NFL record for FF by a safety. Impressive...most impressive.
It's pretty a stacked field of 15, and I'm not sure if he's going to make the final 5, but I'm glad he got this far on his first chance.

Pats are beating the Cowboys, or the Giants are beating the Pats.

That's not a biased pick at all.

I'm really hoping Tony Boselli will get selected into the Hall of Fame this year. He's our first ever player selected in the draft. His career ended short but when he's on the field he was one of the most dominant offensive tackles during that time. One of his most memorable game was during our first playoff game against the Buffalo Bills matched up against the great Bruce Smith. Boselli pretty much shut Bruce down who couldn't get near our QB.

I really enjoyed watching that team under Coughlin with Fred Taylor, Brunell, Keenan McCardell and Jimmy Smith...they were fun to watch.

Wish we had held onto Smith, could've used him instead of those bums we had after Irvin.

Lions confirm Jim Caldwell will return in '17
The Lions have confirmed coach Jim Caldwell will be back with the team in 2017.
Caldwell's hold on the Lions' job has been tenuous, especially since new GM Bob Quinn was hired last year at this time. Caldwell isn't Quinn's "guy". But he has guided the Lions to a pair of Wild Card berths in his three seasons as the team's head coach. Detroit did collapse enough to the point where they blew the NFC North title this year with a Week 17 loss to the Packers, who won six straight to take the crown. Caldwell has gone 27-21 through three seasons with the Lions.

Jets are interviewing Philly's QB coach
Bills are interviewing Philly's OC
I'm sure Jim Schwartz will get an interview, or two
Oh and we get lumped in with the potential Hard Knocks nonsense.

We were 7-9!
Poach the staff of the playoff teams!

All season long my gut has said Pats/Seahawks, but I'm gonna take a leap of faith and say the Super Bowl will be Pats/Falcons... and that's a leap of faith because Matt Ryan has won ONE playoff game in his career.

Ultimately, no matter what happens, I can't bet against the Pats to win it all.

I just want a good game this year. Last year's, as a game, sucked. But I loved seeing that loser Scam Newton show his true colors to all his jock riders. Karma's a b*tch... especially if you are one. Who names their kid Chosen? What an arrogant prick. I don't really enjoy seeing players fail, but when it comes to Cam, I absolutely love it. And I will continue to hope he fails... because it's hilarious.

All great QBs are cerebral to some degree and elevate the play of their team, Scam Newton does neither of those things. If HOFer Troy Aikman couldn't fix him, I doubt anyone can.

I can't help shaking this potential KC/GB game. Slim chance, I know, but something about those two teams going into the plalyoffs.
I agree about Cam. First and foremost I think him giving game balls to kids in the stand is a great thing to do...but I wish it would end there. The prolonged celebrations, IMO, are further tarnished by the fact he's such a sore loser. A lot of the criticism he get, I feel he brings on himself and can be easily avoided.
But here we are, and I don't expect him to change any time soon.

I've been telling everyone if there is a team to watch out for, besides the usual Steelers and Patriots, it's the Chiefs.

Cam.. used to pull for him when others didn't so much, but he's all on him. He cares more about his awful wardrobe than anything else.

Reich has obvious connections to our franchise. Also, I think a lot of people are impressed with what he did with Wentz this year.

Schwartz.... is a great DC. But he is no HC. Hated the guy in Detroit. You want a team with zero discipline and mixed results, he's your guy.

To the best of my knowledge, we are not interested in Schwartz.
