There's a story out there about O.J. Simpson being written up last month for masturbating in front of a female prison guard, possibly hurting his parole chances. Some sources are saying it happened, some say it's not true. Kind of funny either way.

Fowler also reportedly has at least 10 traffic tickets in the last 20 months, including for driving 98 in a 55 zone, so his unsafe driving wasn't an isolated incident. He was also arrested for assaulting a police officer/EMT in March 2016 but got the charges dismissed after he completed an intervention program. Not sure how that stayed under the radar or if the league knew but it could lead to a suspension now that it's gone public.

If true, good...I hope it does hurt his parole chances. That joker deserves to rot in jail. I also read on Twitter maybe that ESPN is televising the parole hearing? If so, they're turning into TMZ.

I have more respect for TMZ than ESPN. I know TMZ is tabloid journalism but they are actually a fairly reliable source these days, especially with sports. Very often they break sports stories before the mainstream sports media and they usually get it right.

I'm really sick of this as a Jags fan. Every year it seems like we land a really good draft class on paper and they turn out either being off the field head cases or on the field busts. Just look at out early 1st round picks in recent years.

2011 - Blaine Gabbart - bust
2012 - Justin Blackmon - bust/drunk who washed out of the league after 2 years.
2013 - Luke Joeckel - bust, missed 25 games in 4 seasons in Jacksonville.
2014 - Blake Bortles - Below average QB who probably has 1 more season to show something before the team looks to a new QB.
2015 - Dante Fowler - Missed entire rookie season to injury, numerous off the field issues.

At least 2016 1st round pick Jalen Ramsey seems to be living UK to his potential. Hopefully Leonard Fournette and Cam Robinson pan out from the 2017 class.

I think our last 1st round pick who became a star was Fred Taylor, almost 20 years ago.

Well I don't recall you saying he was a headcase which I personally don't think he is. Does he do some not so wise things and put himself in some bad spots? Yeah for sure but a headcase in sports to me is someone that distracts the team on and off the field. I've not seen that yet from him. I also feel like until these situations are proven then to me all of this is speculation. The DV case was never proven, no arrests. This situation not proven no arrests.

I can admit to undervaluing Zeke's talents, but put Gurley behind that OL and see what happens.

I still stand by my opinion that AP/Gurley were better prospects than Zeke. That doesn't make Zeke a bad prospect in my eyes. I just considered AP and Gurley on another level. And to say that Gurley is nowhere near the class that Gurley was is pretty outrageous.

Barring injury, Gurley should bounce back this year IMO. No more middle school Jeff Fisherball.

So tony dungy picked tom Brady as the 6th best QB in last 30 years. I think he misheard the question and thought they said if tom brady wins a Super Bowl this year this will be his what ring?

Three seasons as a full time starter is almost always enough to fully ascertain whether a guy will be a good NFL QB. Four years will be more than enough. The Jags o-line is bad but he should be showing some signs of progress. I can't imagine the Jags will give Bortles a 5th year starting if he does't show significant progress, which is hily unlikely.

Tony Dungy isn't a stupid man. Either he misspoke or he just decided to be edgy. There's no way in hell he seriously thinks Brady is the 6th best QB in recent decades. I'd be shocked if he doesn't consider Brady the best.

Dungy said when he was ranking quarterbacks he was looking at them as who he thought would have been the hardest to game plan against as a defensive coordinator. He didn't have Brady as high because he's not a running threat like John Elway, Steve Young, or Aaron Rodgers. Apparently Brady's limited mobility overshadows the 5 Super Bowl wins and Dungy's 3-6 record against Brady.

I haven't been watching the hearing but most of the lawyers I follow on Twitter think OJ has done a terrible job. They say he's talking way too much and the story he's telling about the robbery is different than what his accomplices and audio prove. They're not saying this will doom his chances of parole, but either his lawyer did a poor job prepping him or (more likely) OJ is ignoring what his lawyer told him.
