Nah, clearly they never played the game either. Idea was great, execution was a fail.
Saw he got released. So Dallas paid him $4mil to get a DUI and a concussion.

I wonder if Philly will kick the tires on him, since they would get him(back) on the cheap. Would be a depth guy until Darby and hopefully Jones can get on the field as the possible starting CB tandem.

We have a bottom 2 secondary and we released Nolan Carroll. Tells you how good he is.

We released him first.

The inevitable suspension coupled with the good play of the rookie CB this past week made that an easy decision for Dallas.
Philly had The the worst secondary in the league last season and didn’t want to sign him. I couldn’t believe Dallas paid him so much.
Philly would only need him for the next 2-3 weeks, just as a healthy body that knows Schwartz’s system.
Plus he’s a fellow Terp! I will always have a soft spot for him.

i didn't follow that closely last year. Can't be worse than the dream team secondary? The one that made Victor Cruz the best receiver in football.

Please don’t remind me! Yeah both were very bad.
I’ve posted it before, Philly hasn’t had a quality secondary since Dawkins was on patrol. They’ve just been able to cover it with, first Jim Johnson blitz fest and now Jim Schwartz DL wrecking ball rotation.
If Sydney Jones can play any amount of snaps this season, that could be a huge step in finally having a serviceable secondary. Cautiously optimistic.

So puff daddy(aka Sean combs) wants to start his own league to compete with the NFL. This is easy invest in the CFL and change the rule about 3 years to anyone who is 18 can join and boom instant competition. Get some sponsors pretty much any one not with the NFL and it could do well. So many college kids would sign 1-2 year deals that it would definitely be interesting.
