Why is it ok for an offensive player to stiff arm a defender to his face/helmet area and lead with the helmet when rushing?

If a defender does either of these acts it results in a penalty.

They can't grasp the helmet, same as a defensive player. (Linemen have different rules that don't allow them to push against the helmet)

And defenders can lead with the helmet in the box or below the shoulders, which is almost always what running backs are doing.

Jesus, now Rodgers is hurt. These injuries the Packers have suffered are getting really ridiculous.

Our season is over if he's out any period of time. I like Hundley's future, but I don't think he's ready to step in full time.
