Former Patriots and Cowboys WR Terry Glenn passed away this morning at the age of 43 due to injuries sustained from an automobile accident.

I'm pretty sure the first NFL jersey I owned was a reversible Terry Glenn jersey that was black on one side and blue on the other. He was one of my favorite players in the 90s.

After dismantling Dallas last night, and thoroughly pissing off Jerruh, Philly pounded another entity: Vegas Sportsbooks!
New England had already put a decent dent in Vegas, but Philly really hurt the Vegas coffers, by easily covering.

I hope all future Eagles bets read as OFF!

Jacksonville D is impressive. But I have No fear against Bortles! Zero. Less than Zero.

I wonder what the Jags do at QB next season. They should have around $50 million in cap space with carry-over and cutting Bortles, and can get another $10 million by cutting Chris Ivory and Allen Hurns. The 2018 free agent QB class looks pretty good with Kirk Cousins, Jimmy Garoppolo, Drew Brees (I doubt he'd leave New Orleans but it's in his contract he can't be franchised), Teddy Bridgewater, and potentially Alex Smith and Tyrod Taylor, so there are options out there. With an upgrade at QB and WR they could be a real contender in the AFC next season.

They may be in the toughest division in the AFC though. Houston will be getting back Watson, Watts and Mercillus, Tennessee is close and Indy will be getting back Luck. At least it means they'll be battle-tested in the post-season. Sometimes all you need is a strong defense, a consistent running game and a bus driver.

Though i think the only team to win the super bowl recently with "bad" qb play was den but even then it was still peyton.

Cousins to Jack makes sense. They’re a great team with a subpar QB. The defense is real.

I would say Bortles is better than Flacco and he won.

Blake Bortles a bigger traitor to his team than Benedict Arnold.

Yeah and in 2012 he was 59% completion, 3,817 passing, 22/10 td/int. I think Bortles can do that easy so who knows what he can do in the playoffs. We have no clue what Bortles can do in the playoffs he could be amazing.

That's probably the #1 question for this team during the offseason...Blake Bortles. Even though Bortles has been playing efficiently this season. There's still some plays where he throws passes directly to the opposing team, and the defenders drops it. He's been fortunate that he hasn't turned the ball over as much thanks to the running game. Also Hurns hasn't been as reliable due to some nagging injuries after he signed that extension. We could cut Ivory, and Yeldon and move Corey Grant up to the depth chart but not going to think about that right now. Things can be different next season, but I'm riding this one out until this season is over.

Can't always rely on the defense to bail us out like they did the past few games, and certainty can't keep handing the rock over to Leonard 30+ times a game. At some point Bortles will have to win the game for us with his arm. First things first though. Just win the south!
